This is Kuma. He chose me by wandering up to me as a sick and starving puppy that had been dumped in an extremely remote area in South Dakota. His name means “survivor” in Cherokee and “bear” in Japanese. He’s my right-hand man.

A DNA test showed that Kuma is Siberian Husky, German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, Red Heeler, St. Bernard, Shiba Inu, and even a little Bichon!
