It was me on that road

Damon did what he always did when things were going rough, making mistakes and watching the dominoes all fall in a chain reaction…  He lay in the road, knowing that a car coming is imminent. Knowing what he will do when the driver gets out, as any decent person would, seeing a person in the road.

But until then, he lay there. Thinking about who he was, what he wanted, and where he was going to go. Did anyone even want him in Mystic Falls anymore? He sighed, finally feeling the vibration of a car approaching. He turned his head, his cheek meeting the cool cement.

Ella could have been anywhere tonight... anywhere but instead her thoughts and choices had brought her on this here lonely road. She kept her navigation simple with no desired destination in mind-- just drive, drive until her minds eye had a clear view of-- nothing. Absolutely nothing. As soon as her goal was within reach, all thoughts came rushing back along with a new, questionable one.

She brought her car to a complete halt, squinting at the object in the middle of the road. "What the fu--," being the person Ella was, she got out of her car and slowly approached it-- him. Him? It was unclear at first but at a comfortable distance, she was able to make out that it was a man.

"You do realize that you're in the middle of the road?" A brow quirks up when her head tilts, confusion pulling at every shown feature in the dim lighting of her headlights. "Don't have a bed to lay in?" Another question falls but this time it's etched in short lived sarcasm when Ella decides to take a few steps closer to the male... with one last question. It was crazy, dumb to even consider especially in a setting like this with a mere stranger but she wanted to live on the dangerous side for once in her life. Finally hovering over him, she starts off quiet and hopes he hears her out without having to repeat herself.
