bad bad bad day today. i was super unlucky enough to get stuck in one of ours today. i got out but that was only because i kept trying to hit the doors in hopes of getting the attention of someone outside. all pressing the emergency button did was blare a loud disorientating alarm with zero meaning. so i use the elevators every day. i’ve never really been afraid of them, though the sudden fast jolts have always made me apprehensive. being stuck was not the bit I was afraid of. it was the sensation and noise of the rickety movements. i was coming from the down floor and the elevator came to such a sudden halt as it was picking up speed. it let out a loud and sudden jolt. i was trapped inbetween floors and it made it hard for anyone to hear it even when i was calling. it was terrifying. and i’m very more apprehensive knowing this can happen anytime. but i’m fine. just a little discomfort on my wrist because i kept hitting the sides harder and bp over the roof which should subside in a few.
