Please help me go into remission from Type II diabetes
Hello everyone, I am so sorry to remake this post, but I am very scared. I am experiencing embarassing and vulnerable symptoms- my type II diabetes is becoming progressive, and I am desperate to go into remission. It has affected my liver and my heart, and neuropathy has made me partially incontinent. On April I was hospitalized twice. I have no thyroid, and without medication, it will put me into a myxedema coma and will kill me within days. Hypothyroidism and type II diabetes is making it very difficult for me to find work, as I am from the global south (the Philippines), with government aid only covering 20,000 pesos (around 326 usd) a year. I am the only person in my family who can work; my mother is paralyzed from a brain injury, and my sister is autistic with a very low frustration threshold. I need help covering for my new medication, as I now take metformin twice a day, and phosphates to help with my liver and kidneys, and b complex to help bolster my immune system. Im sorry I keep remaking this post, I am alone and desperate. Community is all I have. Thank you so much for your endless grace and compassion.

I live in complete poverty and disability. Trying to make art to sell as prints as I am not getting commissions the way I used to. I am disabled and diabetic, immunocompromised from recent surgery, and I live in a traditional filipino house partially destroyed by storms and termites. I work 3 jobs, but they are all very unstable. I have the flu. Long covid has always exacerbated symptoms. But I also have a very big deadline at work coming up, like if I don't meet the deadline there will be a high likelihood I will be let go. Am also the sole caretaker of three disabled people with very specific dietary needs (both parents diabetic with kidneys on the verge of failure and a very autistic sister who is very easily frustrated) no longer have any food in our house. Only have 50 usd to last me until inprnt decides to pay me. In desperate need of help (again) as I can't take any more commissions due to how tight the deadline is at my other work and being.. sick. Would mean the entire world if anyone here blessed with a generous heart and disposable income could throw my family a few dollars for some food, rice, potatoes, eggs, anything that can help us survive until I get paid. This website is still here and some of the asks are heartbreaking. Like “Jamie wants a new pair of jeans because he’s never had new clothes before”. Or “Kayla wants a bag with her name on it for when she moves foster homes again.”
A lot of these kids ask for brand name clothing and it sounds pretentious but having one nice new fashionable piece of clothing means a lot when all your previous clothes have come out of black trash bags from charities.
Btw, you can filter wishes based on gender, age, price, etc to help you find the perfect wish for you. This charity is LGBTQ-affirming (unlike a lot of religion-based charities that are unfortunately homophobic), so you can even look for nonbinary kids to donate to.
Also, I would really encourage people to be open to granting wishes made by older foster kids (14+) or young adults who aged out of the system and still lack family support. They’re so often forgotten.
If you don’t have a lot of money but still want to help give a kid a nice Christmas, there are lots of wishes that are $24 for stocking stuffers as well, or $15 for a sqishmallow!

Hey guys!! I need to get a tetanus vaccine as a precaution. Had been walking along a flooded area and cut my feet on something. Lately, have not been getting as much work online- currently have three jobs, but are all unstable. I priced my comms as low as possible, but it's not a livable wage for me as with my comms only priced at 30 usd each (extremely difficult to get clients if I price higher
),I can usually only draw 10-15 a month.. I am the sole caretaker and the only working person in a family of 5- my mom is disabled due to being brain dead for a few hours after having sepsis from giving birth to my sister. She is a full time wheelchair user. My dad is chronically ill, and my sister who I have been a "parent" to is autistic with a low frustration threshold..! I'm doing the best I can..! If you guys could please pick up a print, or subscribe to my patreon (I have more than 300 exclusive drawings up there!) or buy the last two slots of commissions I have or even just send a tip.. it would mean the world to me. Hey guys, I genuinely do not want to reblog this again, but. My aunt, whose gofundme I was running here, passed away suddenly from acute organ failure. My entire family, especially my mom, is devastated. My mom is a full time wheelchair user, and we do not have a car. My aunt's wake starts tomorrow near her hometown- and it's three hours away from the area of Manila where we live. Would love to ask again for help regarding transportation as the trains, buses and other modes of commute are extremely hostile to disabled people in the philippines-. We are trying to rent our neighbor's taxi for transportation- as he has been kind enough to drive for free, we just need to pay for gas. I covered abuloy (philippine concept of donations towards folk who paased) and one night of the gas fare, just needing a bit more wiggle room.
We plan to go to three out of the five nights of her service. I'm very sorry for the upsetting post and having to peddle myself here, I'm trying to escape crisis after crisis. Some of you may already know that patreon sent out an update that charges anyone using ios to subscribe to artist's patreons 30% more.
I immediately feel this impact mere hours later, and now, days later. I'm hemorrhaging patrons & have less income. It would mean the while world to me if you guys could please reblog this.
If you use the desktop version or the android app? you will not have to pay 30% more. Needless to say this decision of apple has completely fucked me over months and months to come, unless I somehow make up for my loss by other means.

I am currently partially homeless- so being alive in general is hard ;y; I wanted to focus more of my work on patreon, until this update- I only have one tier.
I am working as hard as I can, every month ♡ I am also the caretaker of three disabled people- as my dad, who used to do all the housework, is now too sick with a swollen liver that could possibly be connected to his heart problems, and my mama who has limited movement- she "died" of sepsis many years ago after giving birth to my sister, and was revived with nerve damage. I don't know the medical terms, but she was brain dead for however long, and was successfully brought back in a different hospital. She was comatose for months; this event has lead to my family losing everything in hospital bills, our car, our house (literally we became homeless) ah. But long story short, I am the only person in my family who works- as my sister is a teenager, and she is autistic with a very, very low frustration threshold, as she is also a picky eater and still going to school! I'm sorry, many of my followers already know this story by now, I have already doxxed myself multiple times trying to avert crisis after crisis, ahaha. But yes. Patreon added to my cart of Sorrows, and would love to have more folks who aren't using apple, or are using android and the web to come on over and maybe enjoy some of my private art up there. I post around 3-6 art a month, if I am lucky 7. I want to keep making art, and my patreon was what was giving me a semblance of stability until that silly update. this is a very hard post to make. my niece passed away last tuesday at six days old. my sister and her husband have been left not only with the bills for her birth but for her death and aftercare as well. i know this is a lot to ask for but if you can spare anything at all to help them during this horrible time, we would be eternally grateful. thank you.
