Nick noticed the twitch with glee. Good, Gideon still remembered them. âWould they? Iâd disagree. Explosions take away the responsibility. You see the aftermath, but it wasnât really your responsibility was it? It was the explosion, the explosion did all that damage. When itâs personal, that hurt, those crimes, theyâre all yours one way or another.âÂ
It was why Nick liked it so much more. Though Gideon probably wouldnât like the reminders. Oh well.
He blinked. âArenât they?â
âItâs still your responsibility,â he fought back. âYou created the mess, you put the plot into motion and created the same amount of hurt,â he added. âEvery decision you make when it comes to creating those explosions comes from something personal. You hate when people are different from you, hate when they could be smarter than you. So you take it personally and hurt whoever crosses the path, even if they never even knew you.âÂ
Gideon couldnât help but to laugh, shaking his head. âThat train? The one you took to Hogwarts every year? Thatâs a machine, believe it or not. Planes are machines. Air conditioners, they arenât as popular here but in America? Every house has one.â
