But he’s believe he’s found his answer, and he tilts his head up to look at Katsuki.

“Missed you too..Missed you a lot.Wanted to give you space and work on this internship. It’s been…good.”

“And considering we’re both happier...we can stop giving each other space now?” 

There may or may not be a tinge of hope to his voice.

Yukio gives a little huff. “Well excuse me for not being caught up on sexual slang.” He mutters, but there’s no real bite to his complaint. Instead he lets himself be pulled in,and presses his nose against Katsuki’s sternum, nuzzling the spot and taking in the comforting scent.

“It’s going well. Miruko is giving me a thorough work out in my normal body before she works on training me with my Quirk. She’s got me on a pretty good schedule, and my other intern partners aren’t so bad to work with. She’s a little strict, but very passionate. She kinda reminds me of you. Oh, and she said I show remarkable progress as a future pro!”

“So what your’e saying is you’re starting to feel better about becoming a pro?” 

Which was a relief, dating someone who didn’t believe in what he was doing was going to be a real strain. He smoothed his calloused hands down the shorter blonde’s back and smiled softly. 

“Missed you, by the way.”

“You’ve been gone a long time. Was starting to think you wouldn’t ever visit.” Katsuko mutters, hugging his brother tighter.

“Sorry little guy, hero work eats up a lot of time. How have you been, the hag leaving you alone?”

Katsuki rolled his eyes a bit and ruffled a hand through the shorter blonde’s hair.

“How can you own and talk about sex toys and not understand what I’m getting at, Yukio?”

“Own and use sex….OH NO! No,no,no, no that is not what I was getting at Katsuki. I was talking about getting you in pin, not…that.” He is beyond flustered. Somewhere Katsuki always caught him off guard.

“You honestly make teasing you too easy sometimes, I almost feel bad for taking the low hanging fruit.” 

Katsuki smirks but wraps an arm around Yukio’s waist. “Tell me more about your internship.”

A grin spread across his face.

“Maybe now when we spar you’ll last more than five minutes.”

“Don’t tease me Katsuki. After all, you might end up on your back this time or trapped between my thighs.” Yukio huffs,completely innocent to how his words might be taken.

Yukio is a bit surprised as he’s snatched off the ground and kissed so suddenly, but he quickly melts, body relaxing as he settles against Katsuki. It’s been a few days since they’ve spent more than an hour together. Both either training, working, or interning, and trying to give the other space.

“Mhm! Miss Miruko is amazing! She’s a bit strict, but very efficient. She’s been making me train my physical body this past week, before she moves on to my Quirk.” He explains, a smile on his face. He’s been in a better mood. Interning and working out, being on a special healthy diet, and the warm weather greatly attributing to his mood.

“You have been seeming happier.” 

A grin spread across his face. 

“Maybe now when we spar you’ll last more than five minutes.”

Yukio is crouching down, stretching a bit and unintentionally revealing how strong and thick his thighs and calves have gotten, at least until he notices his boyfriend. “Oh, hey Katsuki.”

“Hey...” 

Katsuki stands to the side and watches his boyfriend for a few moments, hands jammed into his pockets as he stares him down. He walked up and reached down to pull the other up by the back of his hoodie, leaning down to push their lips together. 

“Internship. That’s where you’ve been?”

“When have I ever said you were the bad guy? When have I ever said you were being unreasonable. All I’ve done is point out your responses. You get mad, whether you’re actually angry or just upset. I get teary eyed when I’m upset. Why is that considered making you out to be the bad guy just because we respond to things differently. I ripped the letter, you responded with what you did, and then I explained why I did such a thing. Then you went off on me about me apparently judging you for what you didn’t know, which I wasn’t.”

The blond had to pause to wipe at his eyes, knowing tears wouldn’t solve anything. They needed to start facing their problems head on.

“Our first big fight was because I didn’t want to open the letters, or think about them for a bit, and you continued to press me until you got mad that I didn’t give you a clear response. Did you forget at the beginning of our relationship that I told you I don’t process things easily or how other people do. That I have to try and figure out how I feel first before I can express it? The ripping wasn’t planned, I just saw his name and I got mad. It happened just then, and then I had time to explain why it made me angry. I don’t chastise you for every impulsive thing you do or say…”

Another sniffle, before Yukio continues to clear his eyes from any remaining tears. “We’re both at fault, in every argument. I know I seem like I tend to hide things from you, instead of telling you right then and there that I have to process it. I sometimes ignore or run away from problems instead of solving them then and there. I know. I get it Katsuki.”

His head hurt, like a hammer right behind his eyeballs. Stress headache. “And yet when we first started dating you rode my ass about expression myself. It’s a two way street and it’s not fucking fair, Yukio.” 

Hands felt hot and he tried to take a deep breath. 

“You explained nothing. You said he was an ass with no explanation.” He grabbed his back and slung it onto his shoulder. 

“I’m going back to my room.” Voice deadly calm, trying to reign himself in. “I need to calm down.”

The sound of the table suddenly being shoved forward had Yukio jolting up, papers clutched tightly in hand as fuschia eyes widened and locked onto the source. Despite the raised volume and Katsuki stomping around, yelling expletives and once again doing what Yukio feared he would, the shifter held strong. Although there were tears gathering at the corner of his eyes, but it was something he couldn’t help. He was sensitive, although nothing on the scale that Midoriya was.

“I didn’t once say I judged you for what you did or didn’t know. I voiced my opinion and how I felt about it. You’re just assuming because it disagrees with your own opinion that I’m passing judgment on you and getting angry about it. You get upset that I’m not open enough like you are working to be, but look what happens when I open up with something you don’t like.” The blond then gestures to the bag Katsuki was clutching.

“You didn’t voice shit. You ripped up a letter. I was trying to look out for a career that I thought you gave a shit about to.” 

Katsuki rubbed a hand over his face, feeling rage creep up his spine. He looked at the smaller blonde. “You make me out to be the bad guy every time we have a fight, I’m not dealing with that Yukio, I really am not.”
