Ace had finally gotten to know his new city of residency and he honestly really liked it. He had even made some new friends a long the way. He smiles lightly at Kayson as he goes on, kissing him back easily. “We should make a bet with Blake,” he chuckles, “make him really try.” He nods, “Sounds good though. I think it’d be a fun way to bring in the new year. And Jas and Nix can spend the night so they don’t have to drive home after,” he shrugs. 

Kayson felt really good right now, he felt at home since he had Ace back in all honesty. There’d always been a piece of him missing with the other gone. He smiles against the other’s lips, humming at the idea. “Oh yeah, we should. If he stays up, how about we take him wherever he wants to go?” Kayson muses softly, fingers stroking Ace’s cheek lightly in affection. “Yes, they’re gonna stay the night. I’m just happy that you’re here. Baby, I’m so fucking happy that I’ve finally got you back. Now I feel...whole again.”

Christmas was a whole lot different this year than it had been the year prior, but it was a good different. Ace was relaxing with his boyfriend after a delicious home cooked meal and looked over at him when he spoke, the television on with a Netflix show playing. “I’d like to spend it all together actually… bring in the New Year as a little family?” he suggested. “Maybe we can have Jas and Nix over too? Unless you just want it to be us.”

Kayson always loved Christmas, and this year he loved it a little bit more because Ace being around does make him feel like he’s got his own little family. One that he wasn’t going to let go of. He curls into his boyfriend’s arm and gives Ace’s shoulder a few kisses of affection. Kay couldn’t help but beam at his boyfriend’s words, nodding a few times. “That’s the perfect idea!” He gets a little excited and leans up to give his boyfriend a soft kiss. “We can have them over, I wouldn’t mind that at all. Jas and I can cook dinner and snacks. And Blake assures me that he’s gonna make it up till midnight this year.”

Kayson loved seeing how happy Blake was for Christmas, that being his favorite thing in the entire world. His second favorite though was getting to spend time with his boyfriend. Waking up as a family of sorts. Kay felt whole in different sense this year, an amazing sense. Blake was at a sleep over so it left Ace and Kayson home alone, something that hadn’t happened for a little bit. He’d cooked them dinner and was just relaxing with Ace, smiling over at the other. “Babe, what do you wanna do for New Years? I can get a baby sitter for Blake or we can spend it all together?”

“Aw, thanks babe. It means a lot coming from my favorite person,” Ace says honestly with a light smile as they start to head to their new place which wasn’t too far. “You guys have any rules or traditions i need to be aware of?” he asks them both. “chore calendar?” he jokes a bit.

“You’re my favorite grown person. Always have been, always will be. Thank you for coming back, baby.” Kayson had always loved Ace and knew that he always would too. Ace had all of his heart that’s for sure. He keeps an eye on Blake and can’t help but smile. Shaking his head and chuckling at the question. “The only tradition is Blake declared Christmas as ‘daddy’s day’, because that’s when he found out I adopted him.” Kay muses softly, watching as Blake nod his head quickly. “He’s actually pretty good about doing his chores. He even helps me with mines. I have a calander though and if he gets all gold stars for the week then he gets to pick either Saturday or Sunday to do whatever he wants. Like something special.”

Ace respected Kayson so much for taking Blake in and raising him as his own. it was amazing and just showed big of a heart Kayson had. He smiles at Kayson’s words, “i’m glad.. i’ve never really been around kids too much but i’m also not a horrible persons o,” he chuckles. “you ready?” he asks as he grabs their food that’s packed up to go. “hopefully he likes living with me though,” he adds with a wink to his boyfriend. 

Kayson was happy that Ace and Blake were seeming to get along. They both meant so fucking much to him so to finally have his worlds blending? Yeah that was so damn amazing. “You’re so far from a horrible person, baby. You’re the best person I know.” He admits easily, watching his boyfriend and just admiring him if he’s being honest. Kayson nods slowly, humming when Blake joins them and stays close to Kayson and Ace. “He’s gonna be happy to have someone else with us! And I’m ready for cuddles.”

Ace grins at the small boy, glad that they could enjoy time together again. He still couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that Kayson had helped create the small human. “i love you too,” he winks over at kayson, happy that their relationship was back on track. it isn’t long until they finish their dinner, taking some to go and just combining all of the leftovers. it was all going to the same home anyways right?

It makes Kayson’s heart melt how well Blake and Ace got along, so fucking happy that it was the case. Blake and Kayson were a package deal, that’s how it’s been even before Blake offically became his. Kayson hasn’t heard a word from his sister and yeah, he does worry. But his main concern had always been Blake, if Kay’s sister wasn’t going to raise Blake then Kayson was going to. It hurt his heart how easy his sister gave Blake up. He leans over and gives Ace’s cheek a soft kiss, smiling at his boyfriend. “He really freaking likes you, babe. He’s never warmed up to anybody that fast.”

The trio all dig in and Ace legit hadn’t eaten all day either so he indulges in the tastiness of the dish happily. his mouth probably covered in spaghetti sauce, “i’m sure you could master it if you tried,” he shrugged. “is it good blake?” he asks the small boy happily. “you picked the best dish!” 

Kayson in all honesty would probably only eat half of his dish, if that. He tried watching what he ate because of his job. He chuckles at Blake and Ace, shaking his head in amusement and giving a sigh of content. Blake nods his head quickly and smiles with a mouth full of food. “Shank you!” The boy giggles, Kayson taking another drink from his cup and eating a little bit more. Ace was moving in and everything just felt right to him now, he felt whole finally. “I love you.”

“Aww, that’s sweet,” Ace smiles and reaches over to touch the male’s cheek, giving it a gentle “Me too,” he nods, “I really am hungry though,” he then looks to see if their food was almost ready, “i may eat all of it,” he jokes then before he knew it, the plates of spaghetti being brought to their table.

Kayson was pretty awkward, he always relaxed around Ace though. He leans into his boyfriend’s touch, relaxing instantly and nodding in agreement. “Same, I haven’t ate all day.” He chuckles, waving Blake over. and watching the small boy wiggle and aget comfy in the booth again. Kayson asks for a refill of his drink before taking a bite and groaning because he really was hungry. “Damn, this is good. I wish I could make the sauce like they do.”

“You could be though, you’re very photogenic,” Ace says truthfully, Kayson had been in a lot of Ace’s photos even before Kayson modeled. Ace loved taking pictures of him back when they were a couple before. He was excited to snap more pictures of him again, he had to admit. “yes, very,” he kisses Kayson’s cheek. “sounds perfect,” he nods, clearly excited. 

“I get nervous when someone else besides you is behind the camera.” Kayson admits. He always had to do a few breathing exercises before a photo shoot if it wasn’t with Ace. Kayson did keep all of the pictures ace took of him though. Kayson feels himself blushing before he’s giving his boyfriend a light kiss. :”I’m really excited about that.”

Ace nods in agreement, “That’d be cool,” he smiles lightly. He’s happy that Kayson is thinking of his future. “You’re doable,” he wiggles his eyebrows at him, just teasing but also because he loved making his boyfriend blush. He nods, “sounds good,” he has been really excited to see blake again he had to admit. “do ya need help?” 

“I can’t be a modle forever, ya know?” And Kayson really doesn’t want to be, it wasn’t his passion. Hearing Ace’s words though has his cheeks turning a dark shade or red, blushing so hardcore. “Oh am I? I wasn’t aware.” He giggles, feeling his cheeks still burning. “Blake’s really excited to have you living with us.” Kayson assures softly, humming at the question before nodding slowly. “Yeah, I’ll take your help after we do the lunch in bed thing.”

“You should, it’s a good idea… that way people can have family dinners out at a restaurant,” Ace shrugs and chuckles lightly. “How much lunch in bed?” he laughs, knowing he was going to sleep long. “and then some dessert?” he wiggled his eyes brows at the other. “how long do we have blake?” he asks.

“Mean, I’m not a horrible cook. And it’d be a good job after modeling.” Because Kayson knows that he won’t be able to model forever. He chuckles and nods, reaching to give his boyfriend a soft kiss. “Okay luncy in bed, that’s doable.” But at the other’s words, Kayson feels himself blushing a lot but gives a nod none the less. “Yes, and then some dessert.” Kay whispers, eyes going to Blake for a moment before his attention goes back to Ace. “Well I mean, I’m keeping him forever and ever. But Jasper is gonna get him for the weekend. He’s picking I’m taking Blake over there tomorrow morning because Blake wants some time with uncle Jasper.” He rambles, but Kay does love how close Jasper and Blake are. “Blake’s new furniture for his bedroom is gonna be there tomorrow. I’m gonna paint his room and everything.”

Ace was still a bit tired but he knew he’d be able to sleep in the next day so that’s what he was going to do. Ace chuckled a bit as they all ordered the same thing, “too bad they don’t just have a jumbo size that could feed a family,” he jokes then watches as blake goes to play. Ace looks over at his boyfriend, “I’m glad, i’m excited too,” he reassures him. “Me neither… but please let me sleep in tomorrow?” he pouts and chuckles. “i think i got a full workout after today. how was your guys day?”

Kayson felt really fucking special, but he always did when it came to Ace. The other just having that affect on him. He chuckles at his boyfriend’s words, nodding his head quickly. “Oh god that would be a really good idea. If I ever open up my own place...we’re doing that.” He giggles and winks at his boyfriend. “Don’t worry, you can sleep in tomorrow. And maybe I’ll even make you breakfast in bed, yeah?”

Richie:: I think you could definitely make it work. Richie:  although I think footprints might have a better effect. Richie:: like, their footprints create a path from like, the gate to the patio or something. 

Kay:: Yeah you think so? Kay:: Oh i did think about that for a moment. Kay:: And maybe I’ll let him make the path for it? So he can creat his own path and stuff?

“It’s okay. I’m here now,” Ace nods in reassurance, “and i’m starving.” He looks at the menu and looks at the pictures of the food that Blake mentions, “skettie happens to be my favorite dish so i’ll definitely go for that,” he chuckles and then looks over at his boyfriend. “love you too,” he winks over at him then they’re joined by the waiter. ace lets the other two order first before he’s ordering his own then hands the waiter his menu. 

“I’ve missed you.” Kayson murmurs lightly, thumb going over the other’s knuckles. He couldn’t lie, he loves watching Blake and Ace interacting, that made his heart so fucking happy. These were two of the most important people in his life and always would be. Kay chuckles and shakes his head, just loving Ace and Blake. He lets Blake order first before ordering himself a salad, to which the small boy shakes his head. Blake telling the waiter that Kay wanted some ‘skettie’ too. “Guess I’m getting spaghetti too.” Kayson chuckles, nodding to the waiter and giving his menu to the guy. When asked for change to ride the small fire truck ride, Kayson digs into his pocket and gives the small boy seven quarters. Watching as Blake goes just a few feet away and starts riding the fire truck. Kayson looks back over to Ace and smiles. “He really freaking likes you. And he’s excited to have you moving in.” He murmurs, reaching to kiss his boyfriend’s cheek. “And I can’t wait to be in your arms tonight.”

Heikki: That makes sense. Lumi loves watching butterflies, so we planted flowers that attract them the most. And she painted the planters!

Kay:: He’s also getting into music, which makes me really happy. His mind just like goes and goes. He’s always hyper too, which I’m not trying to stop. Figured activities would help his creative flow.  Kay:: You’re awesome. It’s Kayxkaystn@gmail Kay:: That’s a really freaking cute idea. I love seeing what kid’s minds come up with.

Ace was excited to build a life in this new place and now that he was officially moved in, it felt more real. He just had to get back into the swing of things again with Blake now. “Cool, thanks,” he nods then grins at his words, loving how close he and Blake had gotten even more now. “It was good. i’m just tired… i took a nap and almost overslept,” he tells him then looks at the menu. “what’s good here?” he asks, “hey blake, wanna recommend me something?” 

Things for once were finally falling into place for Kayson it felt like. Even Blake was excited for Ace to be moving in. He winks over to his boyfriend and feels himself relaxing. He listens to Ace and smiles over at him. “Baby, you coulda called me and I would have been okay with pushing it back.” He chuckles, taking a sip from his glass and watching Blake and Ace, it making his heart feel happy. He giggles as Blake’s face lights up. “Chicken strips! Or the skettie.”The boy nods quickly which makes Kayson’s face light up. “Oh god, I knew that was coming.” He chuckles, shaking his head in amusement. Kayson does reach for Ace’s hand though, giving it a light squeeze. “I love you.”

Heikki: I have an artsy ten year old, so too many ideas over on my end. Heikki: I can send them your way if you want.  Heikki: I normally don’t put that in the garden, but I’ve seen others do it and it looks nice. So yes, i think it would.

Kayson:: Blake is starting to do more artsy things ngl Kayson:: Oh god could you please?? Kayson::  I am aiming for the garden because he also loves growing things. So he’d be able to see it when we’re out there.
