i just finished another LP full of minimal and ambient compositions where i employed different practices (tape loops, incidental writing, sampling super old and unfinished songs of mine, field recordings, etc.) while writing it. my friend jon tedd provided guitars on three of the tracks. i hope you enjoy!

This is an album of ambient and minimal instrumentals I’ve made over the last few months. I had to try to get out of a creative rut by writing some music in ways I’ve never really written before. There are a lot of old pieces of music that I resampled and mangled, field recordings I used to control musical parameters, control voltages used to handle arrangements, making extremely long tape loops, trying to write without any programming whatsoever...just different things for me. This is the result. It’s a pay what you want sort of thing, so you can get it for free or donate for your download. I’ll try to do some more of these in the near future (hence “Vol .1″) Thanks!

These are pieces that I have written ranging anywhere from :30 to 3:00 in length, in many different styles, for commercial purposes. Some of these pieces started as ideas for fully-realized solo projects songs, some were written solely as genre experiments, some were completely abandoned riffs that I revisited years later...
