Pixar are known to hide easter eggs in their movies hinting at future releases. In this scene in Toy Story you can see Woody, the star of Toy Story 4, which wasn’t due to be released for another 23 years
Uraraka is so cute in this shot

Joan Garrick.... DIED OFFSCREEN. AND. WE DON'T SEE BART OR BARRY DEAL WITH IT. OR JAIME BEING WITH HIM. INSTEAD WE SEE BRAT KID AND THE OUTSIDERS EFFING AROUND WITH A RUTABAGA. I CAN'T
I have not been kind to Harper Row in the past (which is one of my biggest regrets), but GOD DAMN I AM SO SORRY, Harper fans you didn’t deserve this shit!
Not to sound greedy but where the fuck is Ty Longshadow
you know how clark kent interviews bruce wayne a lot? you know how he also interviews superman a lot? well… hear me out… what if bruce wayne IS superman
i was going to point out that bruce wayne lives in gotham while superman is from metropolis, but then i realized that that would be the perfect way for him to throw us off the trail! superman can fly around the world fast enough to turn back time, so zooming from gotham to metropolis would be a piece of cake!!
#wake up sheeple #its so obvious #how ELSE could a billionare be so buff? #and brucie is just so charming just like superman
Heres another hot take clark kent is batman because
a. He’s a reporter
b. batman is a nosy bitch who can’t stay in his lane for his life so being a reporter by day makes sense
c. You never see kent investigating batman when every reporter and their mom has done so

This comic meant a whole lot to me. It was sincere in its depiction and treated the issue through the eyes of a grounded person. Not some godly hero saying everything is better than it seems, but a person trying his best before bringing her somewhere who can actually help.

headcannon that the masks we see in the sets are like, a base form or blank version, and when someone puts it on it morphs to their facial features/personal preference. like a transformer
I like this idea, it could explain how Matoran could tell each other apart even if they’re wearing the exact same type of masks.
That’s the basis of why I draw faces on masks.
Well, even in the movies, the Huna looked very different on Vakama than it did on Macku, so I’m all for this. There’s even sort of a precedent for masks morphing given what happened when Jaller got Lhikan’s mask.
And differentiation would be pretty necessary in Onu-Koro where literally everyone has a Pakari and the low light levels mean you can barely go by colour scheme.
I love all of the above!
Headcanon that Glatorian and Agori can’t easily discern the subtle differences between the same or similar masks on different Matoran of the same element.
And everyone still confuses Taipu and Hafu.
The confusion probably works both ways, with Matoran having a lot of trouble seeing differences between the Agori. One squishy organic visage is very like another to them. They get very confused if a friend shows up in a different helmet to the one they usually wear.
Yes! It would be even more hilarious if Matoran can’t really gauge Agori age by changes in their face and so assume age is related to height as a general rule. Short adult Agori and Glatorian are often assumed to be children and are constantly asked by Matoran if they are lost and need help finding their family.
It probably gets even more awkward if Agori start wearing Matoran style masked helms as a fashion trend.
Not being familiar with helmets or hats of any kind, Matoran at first sort of assumed they were part of people’s heads. Many a confused Matoran has gone into shock or fainted out cold at the horrific sight of seeing an Agori’s helmet fall off, revealing the hair underneath.
Well, you’d probably faint too if you thought you’d just seen part of somebody’s skull split open and their “neural wires” were spilling everywhere!
Pfft! They probably start feeling sick whenever they see an Agori doing their hair. Salons are the stuff of Matoran nightmare.
At the same time, Agori can’t understand the Matoran method of taunting where they remove their mask and shake their head. Their helmets have nothing to do with modesty, why would a mask?
so i was reading the detective pikachu trivia page and
my husband and i went to the mall to hunt for MHA merchandise and we came home with a wonderful All Might Age of Heroes figurine. But it got me thinking: why is there never any merchandise featuring Small Might? I had to buy some Blind Box keychains just to get lucky enough to get a Small Might keychain, because it was literally the only merch I could find that featured him in his true form and it was in a freaking BLIND BOX and I had to roll for luck. So I’m just like… do people not view True Form All Might/Toshinori as a marketable character?
Like… are they ashamed of him? Like… “yeah, we know you people really want to buy the Big, Stronk Happy Superhero ™ ! We’re just gonna… pretend Small Might isn’t a thing. Because he’s kind of ugly and a skeleton and who would wanna have that on their shelf??” And like, the ONLY T-shirt I’ve seen featuring Small Might just happens to be a bunch of panels of him SPEWING BLOOD. Literally at his most frail and vulnerable, displaying his disability. I’m not necessarily complaining, like, I’ll take what I can get, and his disability isn’t something to be ashamed of- in fact, showing it and showing what he deals with is what makes the character so compelling. But it’s just weird that the only merch I found of Small Might is “See? Look how weak he is!” And nothing of him just being a normal dude LOL But like. Look, guys. Whoever is responsible for manufacturing MHA merchandise… We love All Might BECAUSE of Small Might. We love him BECAUSE he’s more than a Big, Stronk Happy Superhero ™. We love him because he’s a superhero that suffers with a chronic disability, who’s frail, who has to carefully micromanage the amount of energy he has to spend in a day so he can save lives and do his job. And he STILL manages to be positive and kind and gentle even though he’s suffering. What a complex character!
GIVE US BOTH.
I wonder if Ozai heard that the Avatar was back and was just like, Shit! Now there’s potential for my son to complete that impossible task I assigned him
Zuko literally is that idiot in a fairy tale who doesn’t realize the task he’s been handed is supposed to be impossible, so he just goes out and fucking does it.
Saving this for later
Okay, I’m back.
I love this, but I have to add… Zuko is not that idiot in a fairytale who doesn’t realise capturing the Avatar is supposed to be impossible.
The second Ozai gives the order and the banishment is official, everyone knows. Nobody has seen the Avatar in a hundred years. Either he’s dead, or he’s an old master that a fourteen year old punk could never hope to beat.
Iroh knows. That’s why he keeps trying to distract Zuko with his little diversions. The crew knows. And they are wondering who exactly they pissed off to get this assignment?
And Zuko knows. Of course he knows. How could he not? But he doesn’t let himself believe it. He lies to himself. Every day. He convinces himself that the Avatar is out there and that one day, if Zuko just tries hard enough, he’ll find him. And he’ll bring him to his father.
Because if it really is impossible? Then that means that Zuko’s father never loved him. Then that means that Zuko can never go home. Then that means that maybe Azula was right and Ozai really was going to kill him the night that his grandfather died and his mother disappeared.
And it is so much easier to believe in the impossible than it is to believe that your father is a monster.
Not only is this perfect, but it’s almost explicitly validated by the canon. Zuko’s redemption arc has a lot to do with him recognizing that his father was a monster who never had any honor in the first place, while Zuko himself is blessed with an abundance of it.
