Got jumped by momentary inspiration from getting my Lucanis statuette.

Occasional screaming was not unheard of in the Santori household.
The frequency with which his wife was screaming, however, had Zachary racing through their home.
"Michelle! Michelle, mi dragoness what-" he cut himself off once he reached her office. Excited blue eyes went from the box she was holding to her husband, "you're here!!!" She exclaimed, bouncing up and down.
Zach blinked.
"I've...been home for two hours?" he replied, confused by her statement. He swore it'd been two hours since he checked the time. Michelle continued to eagerly bounce as she set the box on her desk. Frantic hands rifled through drawers until she procured a box cutter. The case was red and engraved scales were painted a glittering gold. Zach took a few steps into the room, he leaned around her monitors and looked at the text on the box.
Darkhorse Direct
Dragon Age: Lucanis Dellamorte Statuette
Edition number 168 of 750
Oh.
Michelle carefully pulled the box out of the shipping container, she held it up so he could look at it.
"See? You're home!" She beamed and hugged the box. A gentle smile appeared on Zach's face as she carefully unpackaged the rest of the statue. Their roles as Lucanis and Rook in the live-action finished years ago, but it made him happy seeing her excited for the statuette.
"Hmm, desk husband? No, too cluttered, might knock you off." Michelle muttered to herself as she removed the plastic from the pieces. She set the large crow stone head base on the desk, followed by one arm holding Lucanis's rapier then the other hand that gripped the dagger.
The assembly was quick.
When she wasn't taking thirty photos between pieces.
"Michelle it's five pieces" Zach said and her head snapped to him. "I'm taking my time and enjoying Darkhorse's hard work from every angle! Don't rush me" she huffed, making him chuckle. He gently shook his head, "as you wish, mi dragoness."
"Here, hold yourself" Michelle said suddenly as she thrust the completed Statuette into his hands. Zach's lips twitched "thats, uh..."
She scowled and huffed at him and lifted her phone, "I'm aware of what I said now lift yourself higher, higher, right there-" Michelle adjusted her photo settings and smiled.
"Smile mi corvo!"
Zach's eyes softened seeing her happy expression, his lips curled up-

Her gaze dropped to her screen, "oooh good one! Now with Spite's wings."
Zach lowered the statuette so Michelle could put the wings into the back slots. She wiggled excitedly, smiling again "it looks so good! Okay one more good photo then help me find a home for Lucanis."
Zach tilted his head, his smirk and eyes mischievous, "he already found one with you, Michelle."
With a groan she hid her face in her hands "Zach-a-ryyyyy" she whined at him. Unable to help himself he chuckled and used one hand to draw her into his side, she buried her face into his chest.
"Smug bastard," she mumbled into his shirt, Zach laughed outright.
"C'mon, give me your phone, let's take one with the two of us" he suggested. Michelle traded her phone for the Lucanis statuette and hugged it to her chest. Zach lifted her phone in the air and wrapped an arm around her, "three, two, one-smile!" He prompted, Michelle smiled brightly, Zach smiled and took the photo.

He leaned in and kissed the side of her head, face half hidden by her thick, wavy brown hair.

"Zach!" Michelle groaned as she hid her face in his shirt again. He could feel her smiling.
"Perhaps we should celebrate the new addition to our family. I'm not sure I have the ingredients for paella, but I should be able to whip up some churros and Cioccolata calda if you'd like?" He inquired as he took her hand, his thumb rubbed their wedding wing. A diamond encircled by a dragon and crow wing with a ruby and amethyst on opposing sides.
"Yes, please!" Michelle agreed, going on her tip toes to kiss Zach's cheek. "Thank you, mi corvo, I'll be down after I find a spot for Lucanis."
After a quick peck to her forehead Zach made his way downstairs, the sounds of Michelle walking around and moving things following him out the room. He shook his head, knowing her she'd have bought a second one for her office at Winged Obsession too.
