“Sweet, so I’m free to start hoarding stuff? I’m a blogger, yes. And a hungry person in general.”
“Yeah, go ahead. That’s really cool, what kind of food do you blog about?”Â
“Carrie’s a horror classic, I can’t believe you haven’t watched it,” Gwen scoffed. She nodded at his reply, “Well… yeah. Rey, Finn & Poe getting on an adventure together, that’s all, right? Can we just talk about something else?”
“Told you, I’m not big on horror. I never watch horror movies of my own free will.” He raised his eyebrows at her answer. “That’s... Not all of it, but okay, let’s talk about something else. Who’s asking the next question?”Â
“I don’t need to relax.” Alfie scoffed as he slowly got up. “The fucking floor was wet, must have missed the damn sign.”
“Woah, okay, I’m sorry. Well, I’m glad you’re okay.”Â
“Well it sounded very sciency so I’m going to put my faith in it. Also, look at that glass. for how long has it been standing now?”
“Whatever you say, dude. It’s been like five minutes, tops. You haven’t won yet.”Â
“Aw, I’m sorry that happened. And you’re welcome. I can still watch her if you want me to. Just let me know.”
“It’s okay. And yeah, that’d be great. It’ll be a lot of help, since my roommate doesn’t particularly like her, so when I’m at work, she doesn’t really get a lot of attention, poor thing.”Â
“Sure, I like to read from time to time.”
“Reading is fun. What do you like to read?”
I need this pretty vital thing called money. You get it by exchanging your labour for it. You’re doing it too! Crazy, I know, but that’s the world we live in.
Yeah, but you know, if you really hated your job that much, you could always try to find something else. I think you secretly love it.
“If you could be any animal what would you be?”
“I think I’d be a cat, only because they get to sleep almost all day, and that’s honestly all I want in life.”

Jason: Gwen thinks you're annoying by the way
Jason: Thought you'd wanna know
Kyle: ok
Kyle: you know who else is annoying? you
Allison was a little disappointed that he didn’t seem to find her joke funny, but she decided not to let it bother her. “Cheers, I appreciate that. I do have a question as well. How much kitchen equipment would you say I’m allowed to have in my room?”
“I... don’t think there’s a limit for that,” he replied. “Why?Are you, like, a food blogger or youtuber or something, or do you just enjoy cooking a lot?”
“Don’t even fucking ask what happened, don’t think about it.” Alfie growled at the other as he placed his hands on the floor to try and push himself up from the position he had so gracefully fallen in seconds before. “You’re not going to get an answer so dont even fucking try.”
“Relax, man, I was just gonna ask if you needed any help getting up. I don’t really care what happened.”Â
“O’Lemon, yes.” Allison was pleased that he at least remembered her name. That wasn’t exactly the norm. “Well, I missed my boxing class, so I had to spend all day looking for someone to punch. That’s quite difficult.”
“Oh.” He furrowed his brows at her reply. “Well, I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll be sure to remind the person working the morning shift tomorrow to make the call so that doesn’t happen again. Anything else I can help you with?”Â
Sloane cuddles the cat to her chest and pets the cat’s little head. “Yeah, my family had a dog, a cat, and fish.” She hasn’t had a pet since she moved out of her parents’ house though. She coos at the cat and then passes her back to Kyle.
“Wow, that’s a lot,” he said, accepting the cat back from Sloane. “I had a dog while growing up, but she died when I was 18. She was pretty old, I think she was around 13 or something.. Oh, thanks for helping me find Petra, by the way.”Â
“I totally forgot about Jason. Like I said, have you seen Carrie? And no,” Gwen shrugged, laying down next to Petra. “Come on, you’re exaggerating. I don’t think you watched Pride & Prejudice either. I’ve only seen the newest Star Wars, if that makes everything better.” Gwen nodded at his answer, “Han Solo’s pretty hot, from what I’ve heard. I… don’t think I’ve watched that either. What’s the difference? They’re both about space wars, right?” she asked with furrowed brows.
“No, I haven’t seen Carrie. Isn’t that a horror movie? I’m not big on horror movies. Everyone’s in them are stupid as fuck, anyway,” he said, smiling at her as she laid back down. “Okay, that makes it a little bit better. But did you even understand any of it? Having seen the other movies is pretty vital, if you ask me. And yeah, I love Han Solo. I can’t believe they killed him. I actually cried a little at that scene,” he admitted. “The difference is Star Wars is much better. Star Trek is cool and all, but it’s no Star Wars.”Â
“Excuse me?” She leaned in over the reception desk, standing on her toes so she would be closer to the receptionist’s eye level. “I don’t mean to be rude, but I didn’t get my wake-up call this morning like I’d asked.”
“Hmm?” Kyle muttered, lifting his head to get a look at the person who had approached the desk. “Oh, hi, miss... O’Lemon, was it? I’m terribly sorry, but we rarely get people who request those, so it’s easy for us to forget. I hope it didn’t cause too much trouble for you?”Â
I’ll give you one guess.
Why don’t you just quit if you hate it that much?

Jason: Nah it's okay
Kyle: okay whatever
Kyle: see you later tonight i guess
