Paing Takhon has millions of fans and had openly posted against the military coup

Is Paing Takhon ok? Ive read that his IG and Facebook have been seized and taken down by the Myanmar government...I know this to be true as his IG account can no longer be found. He is extremely sick with malaria, and I read he was so weak he couldn’t stand or eat. Unfortunately, the military arrested him yesterday for continuing to speak out, rally, and protest the injustices in the Myanmar area. In my eyes, Paing Takhon is a well respected human who uses his platform to try and make a difference in this world, and I wholeheartedly admire him for fighting on the front lines, despite his celebrity status. Please update me if you have any other information, as news on this is very limited in the USA.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it a thousand more times: No piece of dystopian fiction has ever been a prediction of the future. They are observations and criticisms of the present.

He didn’t. He was making an observation of the surveillance state that already existed in his present, and exaggerated it to make the metaphor obvious.

Learning and discussing these works in terms of them being predictions and having test questions like “do you think his prediction came true?” is not only pointless, but actively counterintuitive. When you frame these works as being ‘people from the past knew that the future would be terrible’ you shift the entire perspective to one of some kind of nostalgia for a past that didn’t exist. 

These author’s aren’t oracles. They’re satirists. Their predictions ‘come true’ because they were already true when they wrote them.

The newest event in Obey Me is horribly unfair to F2P players

Hello, I absolutely love this game and want it to grow and last a long time, I’ve been playing since day 1 and love it to bits. But, in the most recent events I’ve noticed a terrible trend, the events are slowly getting increasingly impossible for F2P players. 

Back in the earlier events a player only needed about 60,000 points to get past pg.1, but in the most recent event you need 95,000 to get past page 1.

This is not good and, as a game designer,  I feel I should express my concern and explain why I feel this. Under the cut you will see my reasoning and thought process.
