the great barrier reef is indeed in pretty severe danger, but it is not “dead,” and apparently no scientist has thus far declared it as such. on the contrary, climate and marine scientists are actively discouraging the defeatist outlook propagated by this article.

so don’t give up, friends! please continue to actively fight climate change, elect officials that fight it, and convince your peers to fight it. don’t give up on the great barrier reef.
