BIOGRAPHY:
Kyree grew up in south Sacramento, California as the oldest of four siblings. There was a lot of responsibility placed on Kyree at an early age, but he didn’t really mind — he always viewed himself as the protector of his siblings. He took on the role of big brother much like he takes on the role of everything else — fully.
Responsibility was something that Kyree had to learn a lot of growing up though, and there were many times where he would get in trouble if he didn’t follow through. All of these were learning lessons, however, and he’s grateful for them.
Basketball’s always been a passion of Kyree’s, he’s played since he was in elementary school, working his way up through junior high and finally to become something a star in high school. Those basketball talents are what got him recognized and landed him a scholarship at Pinecrest University — his mother’s alma mater.
Speaking of his mother, it was her job as a trauma surgeon that got Kyree interested in going into the medical field in the first place. He spent a lot of time in hospitals growing up, getting to watch how everything worked behind the scenes, and he instantly fell in love with and that’s why he’s on the biology pre-med track at Pinecrest now.
He’s also Vice President of Omicron Epsilon Rho.
