It was the year of spring when you got the most lamest confession you've ever heard.
all from a man you'd never expect—nobody ever did expect that GOJO SATORU had the time and capacity to fall in love.
what a surprise, because he was too.
"go out with me," he states more than questioning.
like a giddy normal teenager that was not the most handsome man in the world—the, gojo satoru asked you out.
infront of everyone; without shame, oh but full of smugness that makes you want to reject him just to see his pride fall.
but perhaps the from shocking event did the thought not come to you that day, not when the pressure was all time high.
"This.." you start and the crowd quivers in their boots, boys and girls alike already demanding their victory from the bet, "this is what you greet me with after ignoring me for weeks, satoru?" the said man stiffens with his posture, and as if the bouquet of flowers he held felt the shift of the atmosphere—it dramatically wilted.
"oh, c'mon that was just—" he knew reasoning was futile when he gulps the words down his throat again, catching the way you glare.
and you spin your heel around. guessing with how he hangs his head low, you think he's discouraged enough to let it go and take the rejection.
but the man you knew was always so annoying, so stubborn.
you hear a call of your name but you don't snap your head like your-all-time-secret-is-out kind of surprise, but it's because the dumbest man spoke the dumbest words you've ever heard.
"I, the heir of the gojo clan, am insanely inlove with you!"
the crowd goes eerily silent, like time was frozen but not in a romantic way. It was embarrassingly awkward that you could hear the sound of a pin drop.
"what?" you spat out in disbelief, not comprehending his words and he takes it as another sign to repeat himself to you.
"I lik—" you stop him from talking by slapping a hand to his mouth, glowing eyes shimmering with the brightest smile known to man, "yes yes, don't repeat yourself!" you exclaim almost immediately.
your breath hitches in your throat the moment you feel his hand grasp your wrist, the one that covered his mouth and he points a finger to speak, muffled by your hand, "dso yu asekpt?" you could faintly make out the words he said—do you accept?
it syncs with the voice echoing at the back of your head ever since he confessed.
and yet, the answer always remained the same.
so you drop your hand from his mouth, catching the way his eyes follow your every move—perhaps enough to notice the hesitation, and he worries for the words you'll speak with such an expression.
quickly he starts before you speak, "Its fi—"
"I like you," he gets cut off, jaw slacked and unmoving in shock.
he blinks once or twice, but the crowd reacts before he can, waking him enough to respond back.
with a lopsided grin and dusted cheeks, he speaks again too—he thinks could be lost to the noise of the crowd, but with how close you were, he thinks you'll be able to hear even a whisper.
gojo and geto relationship gets me crying at 3am everytime

FROM THE WALL — SUGURU HOURS
“WAKE UP CALL” written by nhoirr
Within this cursed world, once one is too curious stops for a moment of breath—the world will never stop for you.
At the moment you become separated from the time, the passing days of the world where the cruel reality dawns—the realization comes that you are.. alone.
.. What if, you talked to geto before he went down the rabbit hole?
HOW COLD IT WAS—this lonely night, where only the echoes of the pouring rain meeting the pavement floors filled the stillness of the setting sun, the moment where everyone laid rest.
A time of night where one would set their swords down for the night, to rest for another morning routine to come—duty of a jujutsu sorcerer meant all time was precious for rest.
SO IT BEGS THE QUESTION, that upon this opportune time that were few and far between—why was there now a figure welcoming the relentless downpour of the rain?
If you squint your eyes enough, you'd spot the familiar locks of the famous man—as well as a close colleague of yours; well, if you don't mention the minor feelings you've been blooming all this while.
The man—SUGURU GETO, was far too lost in the rain, perhaps something more eerie; sinister if you dare say, it begs the question lurking in your mind, telling you to pull him away before he drowns.
"Suguru?" — and to the voice came like a salvation to the man, you who sheltered him from the falling rain; did he finally come back to reality, pulled away from the thoughts that plagued his mind to near insanity.
He snaps his head up to look at you, though his vision blurred as his cloudy mind, he opens his mouth to speak, ".. you're still awake?"
There was another pause, soundlessness of the rain yet a million words hanged a million questions, forever unanswered.
"I should be the one asking that," you tilt your head to give a lopsided smile, one he can't help but reciprocate although not the same; the lack of light in his eyes doesn't go unnoticed by you—call you nosy, but you couldn't help to question it, ".. whats with the long face?"
Seems the question shatters whatever was left of his facade, his smile dropping in an instant.
"what gave it away?" he laughs that held no weight, almost a scoff if you hadn't known any better.
"Your eyes," carefully, you take a step down the stone stairs, finding a place safe enough to sit down. once you do, you speak again with a nod, "So, are you going to tell me?"
Instead of a smile you were poking at him for, it never formed. Instead there remained a silence that stretched on for eternity, silence far from peaceful, the lack of words spoke louder than any you could think of.
"It's tiring," he sighs out the words, beginning to massage his temples as if just thinking about it already made his head hurt.
"what is?"
he drops his hand, glancing at you from the corner of his eye yet hesitates at his own words. As if conflicted with the problem that was him, himself.
"This world," he finally finds the words to speak, emotions spilling from each and every word he'd utter—"you don't think-"
"it's frustrating?" you speak before him, yet he doesn't give even a sound for an answer. You guess he wouldn't speak any further, so you speak again, "isn't it so confusing, so easy to get lost.."
Though ends as a futile attempt, the man kept his lips glued shut, ".. but what can we do? the world won't stop for us moping around, duty calls." sighing in defeat, you move to stand up, with all these negative thoughts, you think sleep would be an optimal solution. So you give one glance back to the silent man, ".. I think it'd be best to rest your mind for the nigh—"
"This damned world," he mutters under his breath, yet loud enough for you to hear. perhaps its the worry, or you being too naive to know whats best for your own, you sat down again—peeking at the man beside you, this time, not saying a word.
Perhaps its the silence, the presence of another lending an ear out; does he finally say his mind.
"what is there left to protect?" — a philosophical question, one that even made you rack your brains out to think—for even a teen like you, never did you think of such a thing; so how could you have the answer? no matter how much you wished to answer his question.
who was it, you needed to protect?
"The weak," he—for once, chuckles; one thats deep, reverberating in your ears in an uncomfortable way that almost feels like mock.
".. that's an answer I would've given," his voice is hoarse, dry—not a hint of humor, tone was as sharp as a knife, perhaps enough to even cut at the raindrops or the coldness of the night.
You pause, speaking without thinking, "Do you not?" and the question speaks to his soul, echoing deep within the depths of his depraved mind—does he?
"Theres a line i've been treading," his unkept hair now dry and messy after the rain, bangs once framed his face now covered to hinder your view. ".. its been on my mind."
For you both, the answer lied with neither of you. And you knew it would stay like that for a while, for teens far too young for any of this.. how could you ever answer a question when you've only seen half of the world?
A teen.. an enjoyable part of youth—was the ignorance, "Then.. protect me," if you'd ever answer his question, it would be biased, wrong and..
it was what your heart told you so, just because you were young; couldn't you afford to be atleast naive?
".. you?" he repeats your words, finally he turns his head from the pavement floor to meet your gaze.
"If.." you start to say, stumbling with your words—these situations were never your forte, and neither was speaking your mind; well, your heart. "If you can't find anyone to protect, then .." boldly outreaching your hand, hovering over his clasped hands firmly shut, but with the gentle warmth of your fingers meeting with his cold hands—it eases enough for you to slip in, fingers slowly intertwine, "protect me."
Suguru finds himself staring at you, the twinkle in your eyes he swears he'd fight the world to protect.
"Atleast.. until you find another reason to," a bashful smile plays on your face, somehow tugging at his heart and he doesn't know when his eyes started to mirror yours.
Just.. why were you giving him hope? to what cause..
"That is-" theres that smile that graces your lips that his eyes longed for—the spark of radiant innocence shining down upon him, one he treasured with all his being. "Protect me, satoru, and.. those close to you."
slowly you move closer, and he lets you.
"Protect what you can," somehow, from what was left of himself you find something—a shred of warmth that remained in his heart, one that longed to hope in the face of despair.
"protect what matters to you, before you lose them to a decision you're not sure of." your words saw the world for what you could see, yet somehow spoke to the world as it was—to him, the naivety you held was what made you wiser; more than him, he'd even say.
So when your hand caress his cheek, when your shaking hand held his sleeve where once umbrella–now discarded in the pouring rain. "Life is not black and white, there is no line to be wary of, Suguru. So don't let the imaginary line tell you what to do, especially when it burdens you this much."
BUT EVEN AFTER THE DRAUGHT, to the relentless rain.. if he'd keep moving forward, perhaps there was still hope; maybe after the rain, there would be sprout—there would be the welcoming light of the sun, and no more rain.
That day, that night—SUGURU GETO TOOK YOUR WORDS, since then the promise was what kept him afloat all these years.
Yet still bounded, eternally wishing every night for his reason, his heart—you, to stay for a long while.
[📨] — I love geto so much,, itsniteven fudny I understand you annon, thank you for sending me this message.. I suddenly got a burst of motivation totally unrelated to the topic, but the scene of geto with yuki will forever plague my mind....
"Tell me you love me" Cruel Hart had married a demon.
"Tell me what you see in me, am I a monster in your eyes?"—But, you were more human than not. A demon that knew how to cry, and kneel in the face of love.
There was no sound, none but his apathetic gaze remained unwavering even at this moment of argument.
Who truly was the heartless demon at this moment?
"Tell me atleast something!" He was cruel, always kept you waiting for him when he knew he could never give the time in his heart for anyone else but his family. His family that weighed more than you, it seemed.
"Did you even love me?"—Cruel Hart never thought a breath could ever be knocked out of his lungs. He chokes on the question he didn't know the answer to, hid the truth behind his gaze;

The silence was deafening, although you were sitting next to each other since a long time apart—It feels like he's ever the more farther. as if you were strangers. It felt like you haven't talked in months to the point that, you don't know each other like before—No, it was like you didn't know him anymore.
How long — Has always been on your mind these days, echoing at the back of your head as another voice to listen to when dawn falls.
How long has it been since he last held your hand? How long has it been since he'd tell you the sweetest words, cooing the preaches of his love - how long has it been since he last told you, 'I love you'?
Perhaps a long time, when you cant seem to remember it anymore.
All you can remember are the bleak days of when he'd leave you to months to no end. The reassurances turning into arguments - petty reasons, and the worst part of it all, he makes it feel like YOURE the one at fault. He leaves you, alone in your shared room - letting the ringing silence of guilt eat you up until YOURE the one who apologizes.
How long - How long since he last looked at you? with those loving eyes of him once filled with so much warmth, You wait for him through every night, throughout your relationship you thought he'd be the one. Through every text messages, unread and ghosted - through all the preplanned dates moved just for him.
But for waiting as long as you have, is it worth the wait?
.. How long did you have to wait?
"Kuni-..Kunikuzushi." you call his name even if it feels unfamiliar and bitter rolling off your tongue, no longer calling him the terms of endearment that you both used to go by - because the love had already died out long ago. This was enough.. a mutual want to end it all.
You thought of yourself as a patient person, you could wait. You would always tell yourself during the late nights alone. You can adjust, You can be his greater part, is what you'd tell yourself when you're the one who reconciles with him.
But everyone has limits.
You choke out the words, fumbling with them with the nibbling of your lower lip as you think of what to say, - No, you didn't have to think really. It's obvious what you needed to say and what you wanted to say.
-'Lets Break Up.' Is what's stuck in your throat, clawing like a numbing feeling of abyss staring down at you and the years of your relationship going down the drain, and you can't find the courage to say it.
Not when you still wanted him. Not when you still wanted this.
There was a moment of silence before you talk again, glancing up at him from the corner of your eyes and he doesn't even look at you - Hell, he was doing everything to not look at you by looking at all the passerby that had walked past with more interest he'd ever had for you. That's when you knew - it was like a confirmation that you needed to just say it, there was no going back now.
"Do you.. still love me?" you stare up at him, resorting to other words to term it and it slips from your lips instead of the three words you were trying so hard to say. Cursing yourself in your head because you knew the answer all too well and you knew you were just asking for more pain. You knew it, because the first thing he'd do since getting here - was redirecting his attention to anything and everything that wasn't you.
"Do you really want an answer to that?" You stay silent for a moment, like a domino effect all the words get stuck in your throat and your breath hitches, the pain that flashes in your eyes and the sharp pang reverberating in your chest at the silent answer you knew all to well - But you wanted him to say it. you just hoped, perhaps..
But it was all in vain. Why were you just wasting your time with someone who never even wished to be here?
The fickle confidence that you gathered through the months he left you alone with your thoughts and this withering relationship, for the words to end it all - shatters in the palm of his hands like a fleeting breeze.
Right. Why would you ever work out?
He was always the sun, and you were the never changing moon.
Like the cycle, your relationship goes out like a dim flame of the sun setting upon the horizon.
Ironic that the sun really was setting at this moment and you smile up at him - one that doesn't reach your eyes,
"The sunset looks beautiful, doesn't it?"
There wasn't any hope, its for the better for us both.

sypnosis. felt it all he did within the hands of the world. And shall the world shiver in fear, let them quiver in terror for this was now his enactment of vengeance. His way of grievance. The world shall now bear his wrath, to feel it all as he did-as it made him feel.
This was it
this was the end.
Although you never wanted it to end like this, for life to end too soon. Fate was cruel, and time was constant. But you wished that it could've lasted longer, you hoped that you could stay by him more, a little while longer. as you promised him.
But promises were meant to be broken, seems the saying still comes true as they say.
But for you to leave a for not longer than a year by his side. after finally nestling yourself into a safe keeping in his heart, one you fought tooth and nail with him to thaw the ice cold walls of his frozen heart. How could you leave? right now when he, was far from mending-he was beyond broken.
You wanted to atleast bandage the wounds, to help him grow if he could not change. You never wanted it to be like this, you never wanted to extinguish the finally hopeful eyes he held.
No, you never did. You wanted to stay, stay with him forever, till eternity and until death creeps into your doors. peacefully and.. right. without any regrets.
so you turned one last time, the dreams have been lost, the plan has failed-You, had failed. Perhaps to say a goodbye.
“No!"
But the words suddenly get stuck in your throat and you cant help but look into those eyes. Eyes that held so much pain, endless misery and burdens you could never think of-couldn't even count. You never wanted to foster the pain. No, you wished him to be eased as he did with you.
“Please dont," he pleaded on his knees, sending your heart to a wrench—wish so easy to say yet impossible to make.
You felt it, the overwhelming melancholy that swells in your chest. Your insides that turns and churns that tingles through your body like electricity. Heaving a breath wasn't this hard before.
You stutter a ragged breath, at then you noticed. The welling within your aching chest that bursts into tears that flowed in endless streams; That you were now crying. And you put no effort into stopping them, no, you welcomed them.
“Please, please!" im sorry — your apology comes stuck with the lump in your throat preventing you even from the mercy of your tears, stuck and still.
“Dont leave me too.."
The world seems to crumble before you as those words fall from his lips, it felt like it was only you and him, standing within this far too vast of a lonely world.
( forgive me )
“Its okay" You suddenly have the breath to say.
Breathless and careful, sugar coated venomous lies that held nothing but of false hope falls upon your very lips without your consent.
Yet it was never the words you wanted to say-no, not at all. words of comfort were never what you needed in this situation where the result was inevitable. You both knew that. You had more words to say, things to tell, more important-
But you couldn't help but comfort his slumping figure. Lost.
Just like you always have
—like you both always did.
oh, you dare hoped it would always stay like that. Even after this, just perhaps that—
"Its gonna be okay"
Its definitely not. It probably never will.
You knew that. But you pray to the heavens-gods, To make this one lie come true.
"You're a liar." he speaks the bitter truth despite the croak in his voice, you hate to say you were hoping he'd buy the lie. play along with the act, maybe gods would take pity. But for a liar—liar liar liar—
"i'll stay with you." you spoke, intertwined pinkies burnt to ashes by his gaze now in the ever present —but still, right now, there was still that innocent light in his eyes. same as those he looked at you with that very day you uttered those wretched cursed words—
"You lied to me!" — to a liar like you, would god even spare a glance? you fail to answer, and maybe you never just want to lie again. you knew the answer he was asking for—and you know he does too.
"Why, why?! you promised me.. you promised!" if there was truth in your lies, the only one hiding amongst them were wishes of him. for his happiness, you'd lie.
but when a liar is caught, what is one to do with their hands raised to their heads?
He punched and thrashed upon your figure, and you couldn't help but stagger. This one child embodiment of a man, was just lost and hollow.
Hollow because he was far from human, lost-he was none but a failed prototype. A puppet; Hollow he was, yet he felt more human than anyone you ever met-the pure rich emotions you could even dare call innocent.
You just wanted him to be happy, and for his smiles to last for eternity. Was it too greedy to wish for his happiness? his smiles?
And yet he was hopeless in your embrace. Vulnerable; you recall a child within his endless tears-to the endless samsara of questions you could never reply to. As even you, did not know the answer.
He was no human but why did he feel so, humane?
(More than you ever were)
The feeling that stirs within you, a feeling that birthed from instinct to intent, One that envelopes your whole body. Time that escapes your grasps as you wrapped your arms to embrace him, when your fingers gently intertwines at the back of his head.
And his cries suddenly falls into a halt as your lips suddenly falls upon his own.
You feel him falter, the hesitance to respond back as his arms awkwardly linger upon your figure.
another burden—another lie, another act. last one of all.
You feel each other slump as you deepen the pressing of your lips and you couldn't help but smile into the kiss as he would respond back with his own.
—but couldn't you be a little greedy?
You hoped in this moment of fragility, the warmth you could only provide and the words left unsaid .. that it would not be lost in time.
could be conveyed.
-------
He felt the warmth that bursts upon your first contact, the hopeless honey coated lies of comfort. Hopeless display of lies, he would say.
Yet he lets himself be enchanted.
He felt the tingling sensation of when your hands would caress him, when you pull him closer. He doesn't like being vulnerable, he would say.
And yet he lets himself be sheltered within your fragile embrace.
He felt the bursting of butterflies and the once closed door that he kept locked within-burst open with pure curiosity and wonder, as if a child.
He was not a child, he would say.
Yet he lets himself relish within the fleeting captivation of tingles he could never refuse to.
And he felt it when your comfort was fading, your looming presence being replaced as the wind. He felt it when your kisses no longer had the strength as when it first started, and he felt it as he tumbles within your missing embrace. The fleeting moment fragility falls and he awakens from his dreams of solace as the air heavies and he was forced to face reality. He felt it, the moment he pathetically reached for the heavens skies as you faded in his embrace.
it dawns on him that this was now reality and he felt it when you finally faded in his embrace.
Just then. at that moment,
He crumbles within the weight of the world, the burdens he shouldered a long, long time ago. It felt like the world was staring into his very soul as if he were a mere pebble lying between fate's way, the dreadful feeling of exposure to the unending abyss that follows him in his wake.
Fear, he'd dare say, taunt himself.
In a moment of desperation he thrashed at the winds, screamed at the gods and to whoever could lay ears to his helpless pleas of calling, to hopelessly reach the skies-to reach you.
But oh, it was all in vain.
he lets a moment of vulnerability once reserved only for you, slip; just like how he was also crumbling away.
Something shattered within him, a feeling that enraptured his consciousness and senses-within its grueling grasps did he feel it once more.
Oh, he knew that this was familiar.
—The cruelty of fate, the inescapable hands of time, and his fourth betrayal was his forever first and eternal last, love.

1/3 ★ : TRACK O1, = chapter one. — “SPRING CAME TO KEEP A PLACE FOR ME.”
PREFACE : A love that sprouted way back during early days, young eyes too naive to see the truth — what would unfold in later events are the weight of the lies spoken that very faithful night.
❒ .TRACK-LIST • O1. keep a place for me • O2. [no place other than home] • O3. [too soon, too late] – RECORD SLEEVE.
you first met GOJO SATORU when you were young, a formal meeting of the clans to discuss their collaboration — a momentary meeting, a fleeting bow and starlike eyes meets at a place where time seems to stop.
innocent eyes staring at the abyssal ocean depths that never seemed to have its end, threatening to swallow you whole.
never did you think such pretty eyes could be so terrifying.
".. do you want a tart?" you nervously push your plate to the glaring boy, his eyes following your fingers like guarded cat.
but infront of the sweet treat does the ocean waves calm, glancing at you once or twice before finally accepting the offer.
It was not at all a pleasing meet, but it was then did your friendship start.
from polite knitted poise of greeting, to whispers under the table with interlocked pinkies, stifled laughs during late night escapees through his bedroom windows — you were a menace, and your influence seemed to rub off on him.
the once less than a glance now turned to longing stares speaking a million words, from the many times it's happened, you could read each other's intentions through it — like a special messenger where only the two of you could read what the letters contained.
one time, across the meeting table where the two clans flock together, prideful geeks speaking like birds of a feather. always so passionate when it comes to matters about their clans, status and what not — like peacocks flexing their plumes.
with eyes glazed with tiredness and boredom, a burning gaze had you seeking where it came. your tense shoulders immediately slacken when you meet a familiar pair of eyes, glaring at you with the words you've been waiting to hear since this god forsaken meeting had started — let's run away.
and you take your chance, watching the way the younger boy disappears down beneath the tables — panic quickly quelled when you realize no one noticed, nor seemed to really care to at the moment. so you follow suit, ducking down to crawl within the small but long meeting table. almost immediately meeting eyes cheekily with the boy, but he moves a finger to his mouth, stopping you from speaking.
Just then, clan leaders immediately shout in panic — scuffling to their feet, breaking their neck by looking all around for the two heirs that have gone missing.
you nod along, trying to bite down the laugh bubbling up inside of you, while your eyes following keenly when he points at the door. the exit.
he glances at you — extending a hand for you to take as he counts to three with his fingers.
and once he counts to three, you both ran like there was no tomorrow.
little you held his hand and hid behind bushes, leaves dusting both your forms and you've never seen such a lively expression on the boy's face, laughing for once like a child of your age.
"its clear, I think." he murmurs beneath what was left of his breath, heaving a sigh of relief with his hand to his beating chest, heart still drumming in his ears with adrenaline from the run.
you give a stuttered laugh, chasing your breath to say, "that was so awesome."
there was a moment where you both meet eyes, cheeky expression and a victorious grin — one stifles a laugh, causing the other to laugh in sync. melodic fits of giggles you both sounded in harmony underneath the starry night.
"you almost got us caught," he reminds you without any bite, almost teasing if you really read between the tones. "and we didnt," you bark back smugly puffing out your chest, which he laughs to.
time seems to subside and laughs begin to fade into the night, you find yourself watching the stars. even when you've finally caught your breath, your heart still thumps with adrenaline at the sight.
"hey," he starts, breaking the silence yet peace still seems to fall. "can you still run?" you perk up at his request, seeing there was no jest, you smile as an answer.
standing up first, you repeat your answer; vocally, "you think?"
and.. never in your life did you think you could run. you knew you ran fast, but for that long?
you were starting to regret your past words of confidence, internally screaming at your past self for your own foolishness.
should you even mention the boy who was the same age as you, having the stamina of a lion?
"w-wait!" you shout, feeling your knees buckle and your hands fly to your knees - catching your breath. "where.." you breathe, "where are we going anyways?"
you could faintly hear the sounds of the grass moving halt.
"somewhere," you feel a vein pop - immediately taking back the words of thanks you were going to say for waiting. "cant we rest?" you reason, raising your head to see he was looking else where. as if pondering your words.
there was a secondary pause, hesitating before he tilts his head to the said to say, ".. come with me."
you feel the energy lost come back at his words, enough to ignore the aching of your legs as you follow him with a skip to your steps.
.. whatever hope you had disperses in matters of minutes when your form slouches from tiredness, and now returned to a groaning, noisy complaining fit.
"you said we'll rest!" you complain.
he shrugs his shoulders, not batting an eye when you seem to fall behind, "I never said that," he answers - annoyance building up inside of you so much that you remember this was how much you hated him before, as much as you feared him atleast.
merely you let out a bummed sigh, and you wonder if you would ever get the time to rest your poor tired feet. "were almost there," he answers your thoughts and you raise your head to speak with a scoff, "really? where-"
the words on your tongue seems to drift to be forgotten with your latter annoyance, your eyes now enchanted by the view of the falling stars and lush garden.
there was such a place? you dont think you would ever find out if it weren't for him, you give him credit for that.
too dazzled by the sight, you don't notice the way he looks your way. "its beautiful," feeling his gaze, you look his way with a smile, catching the way he tenses like deers in the headlights - swiftly turning his head to look at the night sky, "yeah," he coughs out, but you catch the pink tint coloring his ears, uncovered by his white locks.
"it is."
"were you looking at me?" you call him out and he almost jumps, looking at you with annoyance that has you fulfilled - a bit petty of you, but you wanted revenge for his annoying behavior earlier. "you could've sai-"
"I wasn't!" he shouts causing you to blink, mesmerized he was showing more emotion to this than any of your findings - apart from sweet treats. "so defensive," you puff out a breath, thinking if you should rile him up more.
.. ofcourse, would that even be a question? "then why are you red?" — you'd take all the reactions you can with this rare opportunity.
he 'calmly' sighs, "its simply.. hot today."
almost perfectly on cue, the wind blows with the coldness of the night, as if to betray him for his lies.
"right.." you don't press on further, saving him the embarrassment.. not like he'd ever live this down.
he opens his mouth to save whatever was left of his dignity, but you beat him to it. "do you think this will happen again?" you slowly walk your way over to the fountain laying at the center of the garden, sitting by the stones beside it - careful not to fall.
curiously, he follows you with cat-like eyes, "what will?"
you pat the space beside you, beckoning him to sit with you, "come look at the view."
carefully he sits, keeping a distance away but not enough where your hand seem to hover on his own for a fleeting moment.
from embarrassment or disgust, you both recoil away as if the touch burnt you.
realization dawning with a synchronized 'oh' - your eyes meet once again, a pause for a moment or two before you both laugh at each other.
"this is what I mean," you suddenly say, and he stops. "this?" - he repeats your words as if to test if the meaning would change if he says it, but it seems to inquire more of an answer.
an answer you couldn't give, not into words atleast.
you could describe it as a feeling.
"this moment," the answer flies over his head when he stares blankly, but doesn't push forward. if he did, perhaps you could've explained that day what you meant.
"i.. also get lost in the moment here, whenever I look at the skies." he seems to create a meaning of his own to your words, and you don't correct him either, "you come here often?" he pauses, looking down to the flowers blooming at his feet, "when I want to escape.. from everything."
there seemed to be more weight to his words, was it a sensitive topic?
"no one knows about this," you freeze at his words, giving a lopsided smile when he turns his head to look at you, halting again to return your smile - awfully menacing considering you felt guilty and threatened, if this was his secret hide-out, why did he tell you?
as if to answer the thought - "thats why I showed you," you don't know if this was a threat or a comfort..
"am I your accomplice now?"
he gives you a smile that makes you shiver for the first time this cold night.
he presses a finger to his lips, whispering not any louder than a voice pretending someone could hear, "keep it a secret between us."
that night he whispers a secret, and the stars became the witness to the birth of a newfound secret sealed by a promise.
you faux to think it over, entertaining his shenanigans when you too, whisper back, "okay, its a secret."
his eyes sparkle with your answer, for once, the ocean waves were calm. you've seen it before, but never at you - so gently smiling with warm that made you feel giddy.
you've exchanged so many laughs with one another, you could almost think you were friends..
but alas, for children your age, naivety was futile to the innocent eyes beheld the world. not enough to be understood, not enough to understand. maybe and perhaps, may the regrets lie in the future, you knew you would always turn back time to relive this moment where you both felt more alive than alive.
only if..
thump..
the tranquility of the moment was broken by the sound of shouts, hurried footsteps and faintly, you could hear the call of your name.
you stand before you realize, already starting to walk away if not for the hand grasping at your wrist - telling you not to go.
"wait," he spoke but you knew a second was a luxury, a minute longer would be when you get caught.
thump...
he feels the panic flicker through your features, making him spit out the words before his brain could comprehend, "will I see you again?" desperation clings to his tone, as if there was something more he wanted to say.
you pause to think but knew you had no such time, glancing at the light of torch fire growing closer - so were the sounds of rustling leaves and hurried footsteps.
thump...
so you gave him a promise you never knew if you could live through, "next spring," you spoke without thinking, heart beating out of your ribcage to the point that it was all you could hear through your panic state of mind.
"when?" he tightens his grip on your wrist as if afraid to let go, more than getting caught.
you glance back at the light somehow disappeared in the night, darkness once again envelopes your form where only the moonlight helped you to see; although not enough to read his expression, once again staring at nothing but those glowing blue eyes - you swear you'll dream about it.
"next month? after this winter, or next year?" this time, he was the one panicking, not noticing the way he was continuously tugging for your hand.
so you give him the bitter truth, coating with the sweetness of lies to give flavor to the indigestible truth.
"I don't know," a lie but not - you really didn't know, but you were sure your father would never let you leave again once he hears about the elder's mishaps of keeping an eye on you.
you bit the insides of your cheek, staring endlessly at his eyes to the point that you're drowning before you know it - drowning at the raging waves flickering with unbridled emotions threatening to consume.
within the depths of the sea, you are pulled out of the abyss by your reflection in his eyes - pleading.
"Keep a place for me here," you turn to look at him softly, almost enough to comfort him - but he remains stubborn, motioning to stand up but you sit him down with both hands to his shoulders.
'here' - he doesn't know if you meant a place by the way you were looking, enough to say you were looking through his soul, like you knew who he was when he never found it himself.
silently he stares back at you, knowing he never found the answer to your words either.
"when we meet again.. promise me-" he answers before you finish, "I promise," his hand finds its way back to your wrist, and when you don't recoil away, he moves to stand.
with the unsaid words remaining forever unsaid, he swears an oath - kissing the back of your hand, lashes fluttering gently with the caress of the wind - for the first time, he used proper etiquette with you.
when you try to speak again, he steals the words you wished to say and somehow — a part of you was also whisked away, and you wouldn't know what for a long time.
"ill keep a place for you when spring comes."
.. two people, two hearts and promises for the future - where only the stars would bear witness the past to be remembered.
in spite of all that, fate will always be relentless to those who never knew the unknown — where the doe-like eyes would one day remember, how cruel the world could be.
that night, you were yanked away from his hold.
watching the way you way forcefully taken from him - ripped away from his hold where he watches you smiling at him despite getting dragged away.
you were so unbearably cruel, telling him to stay. to not fight back when that was all he wanted to do at that moment; because he feels like he'll regret if he doesn't, that this will be the last he'll see of you if he doesnt.
but dear, oh dear..
your words always go before his, and he doesn't recall to when he developed such a mindset.
so he stays - still, so eerily still until his figure fades in the night, covered by the bushes and leaves as you get dragged further and further away.
the image still remains - where he was standing there ever since that day, at that garden during the same eternal night, he'll stay still - and ever waiting for the promise of the past, acting as his chain.
maybe the momentary emptiness that follows the bittersweet farewell he has to swallow will one day catch up to him in the future, forever haunting him. like the abyss reaching the depths of his soul, to one day tug him down when the burden weighs heavy on his tainted heart; now had its first scar.
gojo satoru will now carry the same weight as your promise - he, the guilt if he ever tried harder; while you, the burden of a promise you cannot keep.
that night, two hearts met, and only one left with a heavy heart carrying the weight of a future filled with endless rue.
may the world take pity.
somewhere, you could hear the first chirps of spring birds awoken from hibernation, singing for the day of a new beginning - the month of spring came. marking the start after the end, the aftermath of that night. a start of a path beckoning you to stray from the path, to the path of lies and regret — first spring after winter, a spring without the other.

Asking genshin impact men the question, "Do you like me?"
Var!genshin.men x reader. WARNINGS ? — fluff.
"No," — "Oh." was what you breathe out, your expression morphing into a wince — the twitch of your smile faltering at his quick response. It takes all of your will power to not just burst into tears right then and there, wishing you had the capability the traveller had to just simply disappear.
"'Like' is a vague word," He adds on, like adding salt to the wound and your expression contorts into a grimace; immediately regretting your actions when you would want nothing more than to forget about this embarrassing moment of your life; to shrink away and crawl into a hole, never to be heard of again. But, you can't help but be curious.
"It could mean — if I enjoy your company, to like you as a person, a friend or.."-something more? He trails off his words, his eyes glazing over to your nervous form infront of him. Clearly on edge with his words, dangling between embarrassment or futile hopes — beads of sweat forming on your forehead as you prepare yourself for the finishing blow of rejection.. But it doesn't come; instead, he speaks again.
"But perhaps.." — Theres a quirk to his lips, his expression once devoid of any change, suddenly displaying his growing amusement dancing along behind his gaze; and so, you can't help but hope that maybe.. "The latter," he concludes.
AN ATTEMPT TO FLIRT OR A PLOT OF LOGIC? — He knows the answer far too well, the moment he felt the racing beat of his heart. The moment his gaze would always come to seek you at every place — it made him sick, sick enough to despise it; at first, he thought it was nothing but a hindrance in the face of his duties. BUT — he realizes that it was far too late to back away, because he already had a taste of what he could lose if he would ever let go. It seems he couldn't let go before the attachments grew far from his control, so he lets himself be free for a moment, to indulge the desires and to quench his longing heart.
— "Maybe." — "sorry?" Your face falls flat in confusion of what to feel, when the feeling in your chest stirs but also tightens in anticipation.. But maybe? What was with that response—?!
"I don't?" He throws the question back to you and it renders you speechless, jaw dropping on the floor type of speechless. "No, no — what do you.." You try to go about it in a roundabout way, "What do you think of me?"
You knew he was not familiar with things involving trivial matters such as love, he had no such time nor interest in the topic; well-before, that was until you came waltzing into his life.
If he were to compare it to any other stories he had heard before — it was akin to finding your soulmate, completing yourself by finding your other half. Providing the coverage to the areas he knew nothing about — and one of those things were.. love.
"You.. are important to me. I find your company as something to come back to every day as a reassuring reminder that you are here with me, I am comforted with just merely by your presence." Theres a burning feeling bubbling up inside you, and it didn't take a genius to know that you were now blushing; you were sure it showed even more with every word he'd utter next — you shrink back in embarrassment, but still touched no less.
"I don't find my time with you as a waste, In fact.. the days seem to pass faster than ever when you are around. Even so, I don't seem to find you a bother, and.." So he merely answers with what he feels, with what he knows — "You make me feel things that are.. unfamiliar to me," He notes that now would be a good example of that — you had a knack of charming his heart and making him feel sick. (lovesick?)
—and to that, he thinks he finally came to a conclusion that he may.. ! perhaps.. ?!
INNOCENT AND UNCERTAIN — He wasn't sure if it was like or like-like. He had no prior knowledge of this afterall, you were the first to break through the numerous cold stone walls of his. Stealing his heart away before he could retort — he finds himself smitten too, unable to resist the warmth you bring.
♡ — XIAO, dainsleif, kaveh, itto[?]
— "Yes, I do." The straight up response from him knocks the air out of you. He says it so awfully casual that it renders you speechless, your heart beating out of your ribcage — you know its true when he smiles at you. So gently, soft — you could even say so breathtakingly beautiful that you think you're being blinded by the sun, perhaps you saved a country in your last life to have this man be yours.
"Really?" You query, cheeks painted into rose tinted hues. "Yes, really." He replies in court, the atmosphere never felt this much full before — was this what they mean, when they say 'love is in the air'?
"I like you," You confess and you see how his face softens, the wrinkle in his eye when his body leans into you, shoulders slacking when he relaxes his posture; odd, you didn't remember being this close before, "I like you too,"
LOVING, SURE AND TRUE — You finally know that his every smiles are for you. That you are sure of — that for you, he smiles. The smile of his that seeps through every crevice of your world, painting it with colors of the first sun rays of the day your love bloomed. In memory of every butterfly that would erupt in your stomach, to every fleeting glances and the burst of heat burning your cheeks in fluster — a sign that love had bloomed, and spring had come.
"Did you even love me?"—Cruel Hart never thought a breath could ever be knocked out of his lungs. He chokes on the question he didn't know the answer to, hid the truth behind his gaze;
Hi hi!! I don't currently do request, but I will — and am actually planning to do so in the near future! Im just currently messing around with my blog lol. I haven't even got a theme down, but this will be my main writing blog! :)

IM A BIG BOY NOW — ! Dazai Osamu. ✘ reader !! Mentions of death , (reader is a year older than him.)
PM!.Dazai Osamu was infamous during his Mafia days, but even he — was still a child.
To you, atleast; The oh-so notorious Demon Prodigy — they called was but a child in your hold, cradling him to your embrace when you soothe his wounds. Once suddenly turned into a regular occurrence, frequent visits and daily check-ups — you had a hint of growing suspicion that he was doing it on purpose, the growing wounds he had. But who were you to ask the man? For you were nothing but a nurse, this was nothing but a job in this line of work.
Oh, but to the man — Dazai Osamu, thought you were nothing less than an angel, pure bird who was caged within this dark world. Beneath the grassy plains where the sun could not reach, it felt like you — an angel from above, was not supposed to be in this cruel place; much so comparable to hell, when you belonged to the heavens above.
BUT THE INFAMOUS DEMON PRODIGY DID NOT COMPLAIN, FOR HE FOUND SOLACE WITHIN YOUR COMPANY — to the wings that nestled him close, akin to a mother bird protecting it's children from the world birthed his greed, the sin of desiring to possess something he couldn't have.
You gave the man the company he longed, the affections he never knew he began to crave long since your first meet — you were growing on him, more faster than he could count the days on his fingers. More so, he realized when he always seemed to seek you after a long day; It was then he realized that you were now closer to his heart than he could ever imagine, opening the doors to reveal all the weak parts through every cut and every wound — It came to the point that his blood, his every bleeding was for you. His home, his solace, the remedy to his pain.. and the love of his life.
PM!.Dazai Osamu had always dropped the signs, through measly symbolizations of love — minor gifts and trinkets that meant love, indirect professions of his growing affection for you. But nothing ever got through your thick skull, to the point he almost — almost confessed it all to you out of annoyance from the long wait. However, the Demon Prodigy was no prodigy for no reason, he was no fool. He knew those eyes of yours that held warmth, beneath them lied nothing more than just kindness; Clearly different from his that burned for you like a blazing flame, his was love. While yours were nothing but tenderness, nothing more and nothing less than a CHILD.
BUT — The man longed for you like the sun, providing him the strength he needed, and the weakness he never asked for. Perhaps that was the reason why it started to burn him, the desire; GREED — burnt his fingers the moment he begins to come too close, the warmth of your presence he began to have too much of — like a moth to a flame, but he lets himself turn into ashes, if it were for you; that was his weakness. (He always wished to die, even better if it were by your hands.)
BUT OLD HABITS DIE HARD, for Dazai Osamu was born in the dark. To work amongst the darkest nights, tainted hands drenched in the blood of his foes — the highest sin to be committed, taking the life of another; a sin he could never turn from, but a burden he will carry till the end of his life. That is why, he could never be in the gaze of the sun, bathing within its light.
And perhaps that is why he one day disappears from your life, as fast as he came. You longed for him, for the memory of every time he'd gift you a flower to his visits — the moment when the roses once displayed within your humble office shed a petal for every passing day; innocent wonder to when he'd visit again, a sign of hope.. was nothing but NAIVETY. It was but a fleeting moment, the feelings of adoration was. Once beginning to show signs of rot, no longer seeing worth of getting another rose if it wasn't from him — Perhaps if time meant it, you could've reciprocated his feelings the same.
Oh, but you fell too late.
ADA!.Dazai Osamu never forgot the time when the sun graced him of it's light — Not once. The memory imprinted in his mind like a symbol of his faithful devotion to you; He may have left the comfort of your embrace, but that would never hinder the love of your humble abode. The warmth you bring was never the same as the sun, after all.
But yes, like the prodigal son who journeys back to his roots — you will forever be the home he returns to. After all, OLD HABITS DIE HARD FOR THE OSAMU DAZAI.
So he comes back — its late at night and the sun is setting from the horizon when he knocks at your front door.
Theres a nervous sweat forming in his hands, from the way he grips the bouquet of roses in his fingertips that were beginning to turn white. He thinks for a moment if the timing was right, because there was no response from the other side.
But all his worries set aside the moment the door opens and he gets a whiff of that scent he missed long ago, the warmth that seeps into his veins mixing with his senses of his every breath — yes, the scent of home.
"Osamu?"—Your voice breaks him from his captivation; but instead, he feels his knees buckle the moment he meets your gaze — his heart stops beating for a moment, its getting hard to breathe as if you've got him on chokehold. It gives him everything to respond.
"Y/N," He whispers your name in breath — like he could finally breathe again, as if the name held so much weight in his heart. Carrying it for so long until it found it's owner once again — you.
You steal his words from his mouth before he could even speak, "Its been so long, you've grown taller." He notes that you looked—"Beautiful," He mutters it out his thoughts, but theres no shame in his expression. Oh, but in fact, he welcomes it as a start to the conversation, "—and you've become so beautiful, haven't you? Belladonna." He continues, offering you the bouquet in his hands and this time, you're the one speechless. (;;the wilted roses did seem to need a new replacement, perhaps a chance to let the seeds of love to grow too — this time.)
He takes your reaction as a sign when he begins to lean over, towering your smaller form with a smug expression. "DONT YOU THINK IM A BIG BOY NOW?"—And it seemed he never lost his silver tongue.

"you forgot something," nagi mumbles from behind you.
"what?" you ask him as he wraps his arms around your waist from the back, resting his chin on your shoulder. he had stopped you at the door a second before you were about to leave, telling you that you had forgotten something. "what is it?"
he holds out a book in front of your face, "book."
"oh shit," you quickly stuff it in your bag, escaping from his lingering touch. "thanks sei."
"you forgot something else too."
his drowsy voice makes you stop again and let go of the doorknob, groaning. "what now?"
"kiss."
"bro." you deadpan, turning around to face him and his little unconscious pout. you quickly press your lips to his, "okay?"
"that wasn't meaningful," he narrows his eyes at you, looking sleepy even though he'd been awake for an hour already. his hair was all messed up, more than it usually was, sticking out in all ends and looking all soft and fluffy, just like him.
"sei," you groan again and kiss him once more, making it last longer than the previous one. "happy?"
"no," he lightly huffs, his hand reaching out and grabbing yours with a more defined pout.
you narrow your eyes at him the way he did at you earlier. "why?"
"’don't want you to leave," he said softly, pulling you to him with your hand and wrapping his arms around you once again.
"but i have to go, sei," you tell him, lifting your hand to stroke his hair.
"why?" you could literally picture him stomping his feet like a child. "return the book tomorrow?" he suggests.
"the due date's today," your hand is still stroking his hair and he leans into your touch, face relaxing and eyes closing.
when he speaks again it's almost in a whisper, "just for a little while?"
you think about it. if you stayed for even just five more minutes, you'd be smothered with affection and attention, pulled onto the couch for cuddles, probably get so caught up in the moment that you'd forget you had to leave in the first place.
or, you could leave right now and come home to a poutier and more affection-seeking, drunk on not having your love seishiro.
"...?" even his silence looks like he's asking you a question.
"what?" you reluctantly ask.
"don't go," he says, voice drowsy and as soft as could be. "just for a little. ’swear." a pause before he adds, "please."
your heart almost shatters at how broken he sounded, and you let him know your answer by wrapping your arms around him in a hug. "okay. but only for a little."
he eagerly nods, tugging you to the couch and sitting down before pulling you on top of him, hugging you close to his chest. you could hear his steady heartbeat as he looked down at you with nothing but pure love in his eyes.
"so," you start, maintaining eye contact. "what's wrong?"
his long legs tangle with yours and he seems to hesitate before he answers, voice as gentle as it was before. "just missed you."
"hm?" you brush a few locks of his hair away from his forehead and look down at him. "we were together the whole day yesterday."
"i know," he replies, hand on your back and thumb tracing random shapes that you could feel through your shirt.
a circle.. a six... an eight.. a square...
nagi lets out a soft and content exhale. "i like it when it's like this." his eyes sparkle a little and his lips curl up in a small smile. "when it's just the two of us."
you snuggle closer to him, letting him lean his forehead on your shoulder as he hugged you tighter. "me too, sei."
unsurprisingly, you fall asleep, wrapped up in nagi's arms and warm and comfortable hoodie.
only for a little while my ass, you thought when you woke up again.
he's setting a mug containing your favorite drink down on the coffee table in front of you.
your eyes immediately wander to the window and you sigh, it was dark outside.
the library was closed now.
"here," your boyfriend hands you a book, sitting down next to you and cuddling up to you.
your eyebrows furrow, it was a book in your reading list.
"i went and returned the book for you," nagi says. "and got that."
you brighten up with a grin, "thanks, sei." your hand moves up to pat his head a few times and he pouted when you put your hand down.
there's no words exchanged as he curls up to you, and you wonder how someone could be as cute as he was in this moment; hair messed up more than ever, eyes sleepy and half closed again, drowning in an oversized hoodie and lips forming a tiny 'o' shape because of.... well, you had no idea.
you bring your free hand up to his cheek and smile. his hand comes up to hold yours as he nuzzles into your palm, eyes affectionate and loving, pout no longer visible on his face.
"i love you," he mumbles, leaning down and slowly kissing the corner of your lips. "a lot."
