I tried a thing
@scarsbyfate
Sheās heard of them, but never seen one yet alone dealt with any. Curiosity never fails to draw Kysiks into topics she never really talks about.
āWhatās the fuss over... offspring?ā
@sevoriks
āI was told Earth was warmer,āĀ Kysiks tried to stifle a annoyed grunt, shuffling the furred mantle of her cape closer to her neck to keep the warmth. All she can see is snow and more snow, as well as the odd shrub.
āI'm not convincedā
sevoriks
The time between Sevoriks making his presence known and the vandal reacting to him seemed painfully long, almost to the point where he wondered if her lack of acknowledgment was a sign of disrespect. He raised his head as she finally began showing some subordination, hurrying into a bowing position as if she realized her error. Graciously allowing her to speak, his attention drifted to the destroyed skiff as she explained, and he deemed her story as most likely true.
Regardless, these other Eliksni, these Wolves, were not welcomed in their territory. And she was definitely a Wolf, alright. It had been so long since he had seen one in person, many, many years in fact. It was unmistakable though, seeing her adorned in those House colors. There was no question of her origins.
āWhat business do the traitorous Wolves have in our territory? Your House has already caused us enough grief here on Earth.ā Hostilities were the last thing Scars needed right now, still working up their numbers, but she already seemed to be complying. He would listen to what she had to say, for now at least. It wouldnāt be hard to get rid of her if the tables turned.
Traitorous? Grief? Suppose it has been a while since the Wolves were meant to join the Houses here on Earth to take back the Great Machine. The choice of words from this Kell sounds to point to that reason, of course Kysiks wouldnāt blame him, or rather all of the Houses for feeling so betrayed. Even she was frustrated with the lack of action to win a proper future for their kind, rather than to fight with those creatures with glowing blues hides.
āThose are⦠very bold words, mighty Kell. If Wolves had any ill will to your House, you would be dead. But that is not the case, I assure you.ā She wasnāt going to lie, the Wolves were thousands strong, much more than whatever this Kell has here currently. But events take a turn and often for the worst.
āSurely you have heard? Wolf Kell Virixas is dead.ā
Tag your oc who gets really flustered when someone says something nice about them.

((tdlr good job annon you made her confused))
[ a mysterious small box finds it's way outside of kysiks' door with a small pearl necklace inside ]
Of course there's a little box outside her quarters. The same little box that she nearly kicked when Kysiks stepped out the door. Picking up the box, Kysiks peeked inside nearly gasping at the sight of the little treasure. Surely someone wouldn't leave such a thing here on accident? Why here? Why her...?Suddenly Kysiks can feel her cheeks heat up. Closing the little box and holding to her chest protectively, she hastily scanned down the corridors before shuffling back inside. She's going to ponder long and hard about this.
By living out on Ceres and the outer ring, Kysiks knows nothing of Earth and how different it is compared to living out in space. Often collecting little trinkets such as feathers, rocks and bones. And the one thing that she'd love? A pearl. She'll be like, instant putty in your hands.

It was a Wolf Skiff, heād been told, far off into the northern part of their territory. The report had left Sevoriks puzzled. A Wolf Skiff in this location? No, that couldnāt be right. But it was right, another scouting party had confirmed the same thing.
Wolves only meant one thing to him. Betrayal. Skolas never arrived at their battle for the Great Machine. Millions of Eliksni that could have aided their efforts ā not a word from them. It was the reason they had lost. In his mind, Skolas and his following were nothing but traitors to their own kind. If a Wolf Skiff had crashed in their region, he wanted to confront them face to face.
His own skiff was readied for him, and he left with his usual guards and a few extra just in case. The report had been given that there was at least one survivor spotted, but anything else had been unconfirmed, ordered to stay back until he was present.
When he arrived he saw the crashed ship before them, flames and smoke billowing up into the sky. Didnāt look like a Kellās skiff or even a Baronās. Theyād be lucky to find normal soldiers among the wreckage. As they landed, his guards urged him to be careful, but Sevoriks hushed them. He didnāt need to be told what to do.
Exiting the skiff, he didnāt see anyone at first, wondering if maybe the survivor had fled. But as he rounded the wreckage, he saw her, a growl catching in his throat. A vandal from the looks of it. Not even a remotely big threat to him. He released another growl then, this one long and throaty. He would give her the chance to speak first before he decided to act.
Kysiks was about to rise to her feet when she heard a deep growl, flinching suddenly at the sound. It didnāt sound like her Captain or any of the other crew but to make sure, Kysiksā eyes slowly trailed up stopping when she realized the form before her was huge. Perhaps, as big as a Kell! Judging from the armor he wore, it was a big chance he is an actual Kell. But the colors he bore... it was not red like Devils or the yellow of Kings as she was told. Was it a new House?
With a growing list of questions Kysiks knew she couldnāt just stare, even if it was for a moment. An Eliksni that size can cause damage and with the apparently dead crew, it would probably be best to start grovelling immediately.Ā
A bewildering moment quickly shifted to a show of subordination, tucking her secondaries under and close to her body while hunched over. Primary hands clasped together nervously.
āMost humble apologies for intrusion sir,ā all four eyes had angled down before, not daring to make eye contact with the much larger Eliksni. āWe... ran into some... trouble and crashed. Unintentionally.ā
At this point itās most likely going to end badly, since Kells have a habit of not listening anyway.Ā
What I imagine when an Eliksni tries to āsmileā:
@kysiks
Triksin let out a deep breath as she watched the sun set over the horizon, sitting on a high ledge and looking down at the field below. Even an eliksni, as bloody as their lives tended to be, enjoyd some peace and beauty every once in a while when it could come.
A humming noise came from the back of her throat, a sound of satisfaction towards the scene. It was nice to actually have a chance to relax, no pressing missions or current threats. The captain figured it wouldnāt be long until something came up again, but even soā¦
The sound of shifting nearby caught her attention, her eyes moving to the treeline that was nearby. She wasnāt far from the Scarsā ketch at that point, so she doubted that whatever was making that sound was a huge threat to her. But still, she shifted her body to stand, eyes narrowed and searching for the source of the noise just to make sure.
A low growl rose from her throat, carrying into the foliage in front of her, a warning that if something was trying to sneak up on her, it was going to have a bad time.
Kysiks had often taken the quiet time away from the Scarās Ketch, familiarizing what Earth has to show and discovering new things she has never seen before. She preferred the outside much more and surprisingly, found Earth very pleasant so far, aside from the ugly looking Hive and persistent Devils. Since there was no immediate danger or matters to worry about, she thought it would be a good idea to wander around a bit, just to waste some time.
Digging up a tree root, picking someĀ āflowersā, examining some oddly shaped and colorful rocks... Before finally diving into a thick bush to see if it was hiding anything (which almost never does). Kysiks was busy looking at the smooth edges of a very green leaf until she heard a growl from the other side of the bush. It sounds angry, kind of. But Kysiks knew that hiding does nothing good, especially since that growl sounds like another Eliksni. Just to make sure she pokes her head out, almost letting out a weak squeak upon seeing a Captain in familiar colors. She was hoping it was another Vandal or Dreg, since Eliksni of authority tend to be, well, harsh.Ā
Rather than risk any potential punishment, Kysiks stumbled out of the bush and into plain view, secondary hands loosely clasped together and slightly hunched over to show a hint of subordination before speaking.
āApologies, Captain. I-ā Kysiks paused mid sentence as she noticed a stray dead leaf on the furred mantle of her cape, quickly brushing it off before turning her attention back to Triksin to finish ā...I did not mean to disturb you.ā
āiām not bitterā i say, bitterly, with a bitter expression
wat do u mean that the fallen are not this cute in gameā¦ā¦ā¦
(now colored. a year later)
Everything hurt.Ā
Kysiks realized she could not stay here, smoke meant danger. And it also means something has caught aflame. Quickly (and carefully) she touched the piece of wreckage barring her from the outside. It was loose enough, all it needed was a little push.Ā
Using all four hands, Kysiks pushed the metal, only budging slightly in response. Snarling, she really didnāt have the patience for a stubborn piece of metal right now. So she shoved, roughly... And it gave way, allowing her to drop out suddenly to the ground a few feet. Giving only a short shriek in surprise as he body fell.
Sheād spend a moment contemplating, laying there in the snow. It felt soft and cool. Body aching too much to bother moving much if at all. But her mind was still racing. How long has she been out of it? How long since the Skiff crashed?Ā
Finally reason took over, a primary hand dragged along the ground, pausing only to push her body up off the ground. Slowly, blinking, Kysiks scanned the area. With so much snow around it almost looks familiar.
Ceres?Ā
No. Itās far too bright to be that shattered rock.
Giving a light huff, the Wolf Vandal rose up to rest on her knees. Sparing a short glance at the crashed Skiff behind her, it was very possible no one else survived. It looked like a total wreck, she was lucky to survive at all. But what she did know, that it was unclear if they landed in an area that is already occupied. All she needed was a short break... Then maybe, salvage.
