A lucky meeting || Alice & Nao

Nao and her family had traveled to Oogai and the green haired girl was now idly walking around town. Being free from the responsibility of supervising her siblings was an welcome change, but it also meant that she didn’t really have anything to do since her friends hadn’t come with her. Mm, maybe I could check out the tourist spots…

A few minutes later, she found herself in front of the famous Clover Tower. Apparently, it was the tallest radio tower in the world or something - and she really didn’t doubt that, beginning to feel uncomfortable just by looking at it.

Deciding to avoid the viewing platform and instead spend her afternoon window shopping, Nao went to the mall, but its size was ridiculous and she didn’t even know where to begin. “I guess huge, fancy places just really aren’t my thing…” She mumbled, not really paying attention to where she was going and as a result bumping into someone. “Oh, um, I’m sorry! I should have paid more attention…”

Alice was tired to say the least. Today had been filled with greetings and for her to do her tasks as heiress to the Yotsuba Enterprise. She kind of missed the idea of being a child, so she requested that Sebastian take her to Clover Tower. It was one of the few places Alice could be herself when Mana and the girls were busy.

"Sebastian, don't you agree this place is amazing?" She commented, looking towards her butler who promptly agreed. "Yes, every time we visit, it's beauty seems to only increase."

The place was filled with an energy that would light anyone's spirits, and that alone gave Alice the smile she was known for. "Let's go to the mall here before we leave." She requested and Sebastian followed along.

However, as soon as Alice had arrived, a girl with green hair had bumped into her. Upon inspection, Alice realised who it was. "Nao-chan? My, what a surprise to see you here."

When she looked into his eyes it made him uncomfortable. Ikuto never got embarrassed or anything but he looked away from her gaze. “Not really. Don’t worry about me so much, you don’t even know me.” He felt regret being a little harsh but it was for her own good that she stayed away from him.

Alice accepted the response, deciding against inquiring any further. If he wanted to talk about, he'd talk about it. All she could do was offer an ear, as they say.

"If you insist, I won't force you to speak. I realise you're right, but I still cannot help but worry. There's just something about you. It's like finding an abandoned cat or dog." She mused, offering an apologetic smile.

"Definitely!" Love nodded happily.

Alice smiled in delight. She would have to check her schedule when she got back.

"How are you? Is everything going well with the rest of the Fresh Precure?"

// So since leaving, I've watched some of Smile (currently watching technically) and most of Heartcatch. So now I know a little more on the other precure characters, so, yay!

"You’re welcome! Reika and I spend most of our free time there, I’m glad to have one more friend who likes this place." Still smiling, both girls made their ways to the counter.

"Do you want to make a card here, or do you want to put that book with those I borrow? We can still use the Mysterious Library to have you bring it back in time!"

When they arrived at the counter, Miyuki explained the situation of the page she tore to the librarian. She sighed, but said there will be no penalty this time.

"We have two copies of it. Somebody else already borrowed it. You can keep this one." She smiled. "You always take great care of the books you return to us, Hoshizora, so I know I can trust you if you say you really didn’t do it on purpose. Is your friend taking anything?"

The lady turned her head to Alice.

Alice nodded and handed over the book gently, offering a professional smile.

"I believe I will get my own card. I wouldn't mind visiting this place as much as possible. Somewhere that makes you smile so beautifully must be somewhere worth going." She finally answered, turning back to the unlucky pinkette. "I'm glad there wasn't an issue with the book you borrowed."

Alice turned back to the librarian and offered the required materials in order to get her own library card. A few minutes passed, and a library card with Alice's name on it was given to her. She happily showed it to Miyuki, an excited smile on Alice's face.

Love met a good friend again

Love was walking home from school, to meet her friends later in the park. One the way, Love saw a girl with dark orange hair which is tied up in two buns. “Could it be?” Love walked closer to the girl. “Ah! Alice!” Love recognized that the girl was one of Love’s best friends.

    |     Alice turned towards Love, a warm smile on her features as she recognised the speaker.

"Love, it's so nice to see you again." She exclaimed happily, her hands coming together in a clap, "We really should have tea more often."

He raised an eyebrow, "whatever you say." Was she one of those overly sweet, enthusiastic girls? Hopefully not. She seemed to have more personality then that.

—— [ ♣ ] Alice cocked her head to the side, "Is something wrong?" She inquired. Her eyes looked straight into his, trying to see if there was any emotion there. She could pick up a tinge of 'unhappiness' but she couldn't figure out why it was there.

Maybe he had been lying? No, he didn't look like he had been lying. She had to trust this man, even though he was a stranger.

The ex-terrorist walked silently through darkened streets, new scratches and bruises adorning her body. A normal Saturday night at her little ‘fight club’. Nothing particularly new. A figure caught her eye, however, and she turned fully towards where she saw a young girl running through an alley in her direction.

"Alright then, just watch yourself until this…’Sebastian’ comes to pick you up," she replied. "Well, I can tell you right now that we’re in downtown Sakurami City, club district."

Alice pulled out a notepad and wrote down 'Downtown Sakurami City' for future reference, "I'm sorry again for the trouble I've caused you." Alice apologised, yet again. She then rested Lance in her pocket and looked over the destruction from the fight. She'd have to get some people to clean up the area

"Not very brave, is he?" Ira huffed, not seeming to be all that upset at this revelation- rather, he was used to people not liking him. It hadn’t been that long since the fall of King Selfishness after all, and honestly, he wouldn’t really even consider himself ‘reformed’.

"Somehow, with a personality like that, it’s no wonder that your giant version of him turned out to be completely useless." Ira shrugged his shoulders.

Alice frowned and leaned towards Ira menacingly, "Lance is plenty brave. And Lance was useful against King Jikochu." She explained, "He distracted the King long enough so that Mana could find an opening."

Alice sighed and leaned back to her original position, "You really should try to be a little nicer."

"It’s nothing special, but is relaxing," Hakuei mused, leaning forward to stroke the petals of a flower growing at her feet. A honeybee nesting in the plant crawled out to examine her finger, rubbing fuzzy antenna on the intruding appendage. 

"I see," she replied, letting the bee crawl up her hand and settle there. "I travel a lot on business as well. I’m an agent for my cousin’s company, so I’m always on the run. But I’m glad you like it here—aren’t the flowers lovely this time of year?"

Alice's eyes brightened up at the mention of flowers, "Yes, they're more beautiful here than in Oogai." She confessed, looking out at the field, "It must be because their wildflowers."

She suggested, smiling. Inwardly, she felt relieved to meet someone that understood her. It felt like she had someone to look up to - like an older sister. Though she wouldn't say that out loud.

"If you ever come to Oogai, you must tell me." She insisted

The blush on Ira’s face deepened even more as she tucked the flower away in his shirt, and he quickly moved to take it out. “I don’t want this! Besides, I’m a boy! Girls are the ones who are supposed to look better with flowers!”

Huffing, he took her hand, and put in in her palm. “You should take something like that!”

He paused, seeming to notice something finally, quirking an eyebrow. “Is your bear not with you today?”

Alice took the flower thoughtfully and placed it behind her ear, giggling to herself, "If you insist." She merely replied, still smiling. She had to admit, he had an adorable blush.

"Lance is hiding. He doesn't really like you." She said without hesitation

Minene pursed her lips. They were too far away from where Nishijima and Fourth worked, and-she remembered now-the former was out on a case and Fourth had the night off. Deus-fucking-damn. "Do you need a phone?" she asked, pulling out her Diary.

Alice bowed her head in gratitude to Uryuu, "Thank you Minene-san, but I should be fine. If Sebastian hasn't found me in the next hour, I'll just wake up Lance."

She looked around the area, "I might even be able to find a recognisable landmark..." She mused, pursing her lips
