Moving accounts has been stupidly slow (and often sidetracked by LET IT DIE and Destiny 2) but persistent. I would work on it more but I got to help with Thanksgiving prep.
Here’s a link for the new account.

Well, holy shit. I have the muse for Hanako again. Time for me to get this show on the road and start moving her over to the new account.
.
As you can see, progress towards moving to a new account has slowed and stalled. I got some things done when I have the drive and the concentration for it. Most days I just want to spend my time distracting myself with video games or staying in bed.
I legitimately want to rp, but I can’t really bring myself to. My depression keeps getting in the way. I’m afraid that if I’m honest, I’ll get shit for “using mental illness as an excuse”. So instead I’ll just continue to lurk quietly on my blog.
Update
Moving and getting everything over to a new blog is nice but a little slow. Some days it comes from being side-tracked or doing normal life things. Some days I deal with my brain giving me the wonderful though patterns that no one cares if you just give up and leave the RPC community.
Good times, good times...
Yet, I’m still working and moving shit over.
Mun PSA
Well, this is something I started thinking about for the past couple of days...
As usual, it’s under a “Read More.”
What is home? No, really, I want you to tell me– what is home? Is home the place whose language you learned first or the place whose language fits most easily in your mouth now? What if i don’t know which language i learned first? What if they mix together in my head and the language I learned last suddenly rolls upon my tongue more smoothly than the language I learned first? Is home the place where you lived the longest? Is home the place where you live now or the place where you hope to live five years from now or the place where you want to settle down and die someday? Is home even a place? Is home just made of people? Is it your friends, or your family? What if your friends span three continents? Which friends should I count? The newest or the oldest–the most in number or the most in time? If home is a feeling, can you tell me what it feels like? If home is belonging, where do I go if I don’t fit anywhere? If home is peace, what if I don’t know how to lay down my weapons? What is home? Tell me, please– I am so tired, and all I want is to go home. Where am I supposed to go?

Is there a Discord for like discussing Japanese mythology and folklore? I have so many things that I want to discuss.
It’s true that many here appear to use RP as a coping mechanism but please don’t assume that anyone who admits to having depression, anxiety, etc. is doing so. Please don’t assume that they are not seeking other, better ways to improve their lives. Everyone deserves some sort of hobby, some activity that is purely for fun — including those who have mental illness. The fact that our lives aren’t going as well as yours doesn’t necessarily make your ‘hobby’ our ‘escapism’. Yes, there are cases of muns getting really out of control and using their illness as an excuse for bad behavior but, we’re not all like that. More often than not, I think, such illnesses actually interfere with our ability to even try to RP at all. When you’re in a condition where there isn’t much that you’re able to find pleasure in, it really hurts to have others shame you for the few things you do enjoy.
I hate hate HATE how the “trend” is to put multiple spaces between words. It’s so damn choppy to read and looks awful with all the blatant text rivers. Just stop. Stop.
*wants to rp with everyone*

Can you guys reblog this post if you’re alright with other roleplayers politely declining the offer to rp? And if you would prefer this over being ignored?
Showa 1939-1944
Young Shigeru Mizuki: Anyways, I figure I'll be dead in two or three years, tops. I want to find some meaning in life and death.
Nezumi Otoko: Are all young people so pessimistic?
Shigeru Mizuki: I don't think so. But it's how I feel. It's like they say cats can tell when they are about to die.
Nezumi Otoko: Well...I don't know about that...
Shigeru Mizuki: Let me put it another way...I'm young. These are supposed to be the best days of my life. But all I can see is death. Just death.
Nezumi Otoko: About that...
Shigeru Mizuki: So I am trying to find a way to accept my own death.
