i’m not kidding when I say this is the best hollanov fic I’ve ever read, it’s so well written, so funny, so emotional, and it was quite literally better than sleep.

canon divergent fics are not everyone’s cup of tea but i swear you won’t regret it if you read this.

A very well written fic about what happens to Shane after being outed and having to deal with his intolerable teammates.

Heavy TW’s so be sure to read the tags but for me, no matter how blood curdling the Voyageurs were, it is an incredible fic with a very well written, loving Ilya.

Words cannot describe how much I despise the Montreal Voyageurs.

here i am again, with another depressing fic from the hr fandom. short, beautifully written and very very tragic.

major tw, mentions of death, suicide, and vomiting.

no matter how much i pray that s2 of heated rivalry comes soon, i know deep in my heart that i will simply die from the heartbreak of watching connor display a full on depressed ilya going through it while “his boyfriend breaks his fucking heart.”

not to mention jacob being the absolute genius director he is, will probably add extra details that would make the whole thing hurt 10 fold possibly with additional scenes of shane’s struggles as well.

safe to say s2 is not looking up for us emotionally but we shall prevail like green growing through cement.

the other heartbreaking fic i read in this fandom because apparently we are all allergic to happiness. absolutely left me in shambles, had me sobbing from start to finish at 3am in the morning through finals season. also a 10/10, i genuinely felt numb after this.

this fandom is a prison but i fear i will never leave.

just read the most heartbreaking fic i think the HR fandom has to offer and it was more painful than the Ilya plane crash one. this fic stabbed me and not only twisted the knife, it dug another one into my heart and stomped on it. this was beautiful but it hollowed out something in me and I will never recover. 10/10

hudson’s interview with sophie for wonderland really puts things into perspective because even though hudson has said this many times in the past, and people seem to ignore it, that he and so many other celebrities are just human. they see the good and they see the bad on the internet.

what just baffles me is how many people seem to gain a fake piece of information about a person and ride on with it, spreading it and misinforming others. chill tf out and let them be god😭

heated rivalry ao3 has taken over my entire being where i genuinely cannot distinguish whether that one scene i read is from a fic i read or actually from the book and i go down a rabbit hole of rereading the books and reading more fics. this is not okay.

i love to think about how ilya locked tf in collecting all supportive and loving teammates for shane the moment the man said he loved him. we see you ilya “i act like i don’t give a fuck but give the most fucks” rozanov (trust he knew that the metros were up to no good)

Yuna and David having watched their autistic son be so isolated all of his adult life and never having a happy relationship or close friends who understand his anxiety and then finding out that the man they’ve spent a decade hating on his behalf can casually talk him down from a panic attack in less than a minute
