You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I know that's cliche, and over used.. But I will never know how to express the strength you have given me, the light you have shone on everything around me. Your support is mind blowing and I know that I am not an easy person to love every day.. With every passing moment.. I realize more and more.. I really don't know what I would do without you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me

Its your voice in my ears, reminding me of all the late night conversations

And the face I see when I close my eyes, showing me the person you'll never be again; memories, scraping around my brain, causing headache after headache ..

Like fallen leaves in spring; cold, dead, dusty.. Most don't remember how they were, they will inevitably be replaced with time..

I will be the one to clean up this mess.. It may take me a while, but it will not break me.

I want to slow my breathing to match yours, take peace in the smallest movement, the slightest touch..

And know that I am safe

It’s in your soul, to be who you are, to show your colours. Be free of self judgment, be free of the words that may come your way, and just be. Healing - Empty

So many eyes - you'd think I could see what they see; I see a mass, dark and ugly

Collapsing in on itself

Not worthy of proper care, proper attention

So many voices - you'd think I might believe them; I believe they say what they think will work

No care for how it might make me feel when it's over

So many lingering touches, gazes, smiles... you would think I would be bursting at the seams with love; I am empty, used, not worthy of simple touch

Everyone needs love, you've made mine for the taking.

Dance

When I'm alone, the darkness spread around me, I can feel the beat in my soul, ringing through my ears. I can feel the fluttering in my chest, reciting the dance of my life.

To move is to experience the things around you. To stay still is to experience the things within..
