17th century dress inspired by my beloved Versailles royal court fashion. It's mostly handsewn, made out of satin and trimmed with lace. It was the first serious historical costume i have ever made. And to be honest, my favourite one <3

I love descriptions in works. and no, I'm not talking about the vast landscapes of Tolstoy, Stendhal or Hugo (although I have a great liking for the French in this matter). I'm talking about common sentences with a complex construction, where various metaphors and epithets hover, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the thought, in the author's feelings, under his skin and even into his soul.
You can write "he was in love with her", but I want to know if the mermaids sang in his garden when he looked at her, if the sky was broken when she refused to see him.
I can write "she first met him in the drawing room of the country house," but I want to know if the lilacs smelled like lilacs at that moment, if the morning sun caressed his soft curls, or if the sunset was so scarlet it hid the blush of both of them. I want to know if she was ready to hand over her heart and he her soul when their gazes barely intertwined.
because I feel this way. I know, I know very well that reality is mundane and simple, but I want colours for myself. I look at people on the street/transport and make up stories, I add colours to my life that life would never have given me on a palette. because I want to feel more than I am given. and that's why I like to speak beautifully about the unbeautiful, to think with enthusiasm about absolutely ordinary things.
because it heals me, it makes me alive. And that's why I love literary descriptions.

I can't believe it's finally finished! After 8 months of work I am glad to present you, ladies and gentleman my 17th century men's costume. It's made out of satin and trimmed with lace, which was sewn on by hand. The wig was also styled by me.

This painting was inspired by artwork of Adrian Borda called 'Love slowly killls you'. I took the main point from it, but also made some changes to add even more drama ( as if there wasn't already enough of it haha )
