Fokal is the solution to true democracy in Haiti 🇭🇹. It's a piece of the pie. It's a institution that uses art, literary workshop, discussion and development to create change. #labelleviefilm screening was opened to all sectors of the community and everyone from the streets of Champs Mars to the Bourgeoisie of Petion Ville to students and educators was in the house. About 100 people were turned away also. Once the 75 seater theater was filled, no one was able to get in because of their last name, status or any of the above. It was an electrifying moment for me.
