✦ Admittedly, she had so many cats because she didn’t have much of anything else going on. She had a few friends here and there, but she’d gotten tired of coming home to a lonely room since she wasn’t exactly friends with her roommates. Byleth had known they were all out for the night though, so the two of them had free reign of the apartment.
“You sell yourself short if you think that you’re an easy person for forget, La Brava.” Muted as her expressions always were, she smiled nonetheless. “You can grab a seat on the couch if you want. Just give me a moment.” The professor was rooting through the bags she’d set down, before eventually pulling out something she’d bought in secret.
She moved to where La Brava was, regardless of where, and held out a tiny box. “Here, to celebrate.” Inside was a phone strap with a silver heart on the end. She’d wanted to find something that might suit her tastes.
“Ok! Ok! Don’t gotta me twice!” Without further instruction, the young woman hopped onto the couch and began to swing her legs. A pretty cute habit she developed since her feet almost never touch the floor.
When Byleth moved closer to her, La Brava perked up curiously until she was presented with a tiny box. Was this some sort of marriage proposal? Was Byleth making the move already? And La Brava thought she moved fast. Before jumping to any more further conclusions, she silently took the box, though the blush on her cheeks did indicate some fluster.
“It’s so cute! I know just the spot for it!” Well, matrimony crisis aside, she pulled her flip phone out, easily looping the strap in. “I wish I had known, I would’ve gotten you something too!!”
