A little personal headcanon I wanted to include: Furina has a scar or mark around her neck because that is the exact spot where her bond with Focalors was severed.

Anyway! I’m not sure how well this aligns with canon, but I wanted to explore how 500 years might have eroded Furina's mind,to the point where she feels alienated from her own body after having to play a role for so long.

Angst isn't really my strong suit, so I hope this turns out okay (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠) I certainly ran into some translation issues because I couldn't tell if the phrasing was correct in English (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)(English isn't my first language, so please excuse any errors you might find).

On a positive note, though: with a support system and people around her, Furina is definitely doing better now. Even on days when she has a setback and shuts herself away at home, there are people there to make sure she's okay!!

There were many a rumor about the strange inhuman duo that lived in a small house in the shadow of the Regia Immefretum. Some quite horrid and nasty. Lady Furina on the other hand... for some reason she didn't stick out too much in people's memories.

3.Escofuri; one of the three Furina ships I ADORE, oblivious princely Furina x down horrendously bad escoffier is a ship dynamic that I love

4.Heatwave; (Furina x Mavuika) the 2 human archons who've sacrificed their life for their people and been around for 500 years, plus the good old fire x water and red x blue dynamic of doom and despair

5.Palaisfam!!! (Platonic Furina & Neuvilette) I personally see them as the doomed siblings of all time (if we ignore the travler & abyss sibling) they're so damn tragic and need therapy like... Yesterday

6. FuriAnne; (Furina x Mary-Anne) HEAR ME OUT- Furina and Mary-Anne having a brief situationship thing before Mary died, now sandrone haunts Furina like a ghost. Though it does have a bit of a plot hole considering Furina wouldn't want anyone close at all so she doesn't get found out as an fraud of an archon. Hence I fix this by having Furina push her away the entire time and keeping Anne at arms length, Furina wishes should could be more open but she has to do this. It probably would lead to a messy argument before Mary-Anne became the #1 narrative haunter of sandrones life
