This year I

was unemployed for half a year then got a job through connections. Is it an easy job that I'm overqualified for? Yes. Are my colleagues very nice? Yes. Is the payment good? NOPE.

lost a sort of friend this year and it was surprisingly difficult to accept the fact that he died. Thank you for those photos, sweetheart. Had a lot more planned.

had a relationship ending. Had a quick flame with a guy I had been crushing on for years. Then had another one with an emotionally heavily underdeveloped guy. Then had another one with another guy emotionally stuck. Yep, I have a lot to learn.

went easy on folk dance, heavy on salsa. It's nice. I'm a terrible dancer but I don't much care.

It was a weird year, not much going on in the first half of it apart from my friend passing away.. and then everything happening all at once in the second half.

Let us have all a nice, emotionally and physically healthy year for 2026!

i'm sitting here half-drunk in a late Wednesday night brooding over a flame that just ended that's not even worth this much effort in the first place, going through my blog, and despite so many things having happened in the last four years, I still have that burning love for Tevfik/Ali as I used to have back in the day.
