Not ganna lie, this blog and everything about it feels like a lifetime ago. It's been a near full 5 years since I've made my last comic & it's been 3 since I've done anything lackoftalent related.

I've started and finished college, lost my hair, runned for office (unsuccessfully), & got a good full time production job after churning through 6 other quite shitier jobs in just under 2 years.

But every so often I remember these days, where first thing in the morning I'd spend it making a comic before going to school then coming home to do 3 writing prompts for another blog.

Lackoftalent was never successful, but it was fulfilling. It was also stupid, very stupid, proudly stupid. The barrier to entry for what I made was if the joke made me laugh & if I could draw it before I went to school.

Life is life, it can be profound & complex, but it can also be simple, & dumb. Some shit changes, other stays the same. Everything can go to hell around you while stuff still get better personally day by day.

& who knows, if you all are still around when I finish what I've just started, you may just be able to enjoy the stupid simpler times with me.
