finally give a solid concept of Nox, Yue's attacker. Bonus some of Yue's devoted followers. Im gonna put Nox's lore under cut cuz its pretty long and may be a little heavy for some viewers to read. (cw - mentions of physical assault, and brief mentions of stalking)
In general, Nox is more about the perspective of a mortal who wants the powers of a deity and becomes very obsessed with Yue in the need of wanting her powers to be more.
Starting off on the design on the right. Nox was a rookie soldier trying his best to rise up the ranks of the Space military. There was a minor war conflict where he had to guide his troops to safety, but got them lost but eventually stumbles upon the Moon Priestess' temple. Her followers were welcoming and quickly alerted the Priestess of the injured soldiers to aid them.
The Priestess' appearance during that time was pretty much a walking white veil covering her from head to toe, if you're lucky to see her face it was covered by a mask. Yue's appearance was a complete mystery to all including the Petal Fairies.
Back to Nox, he became obsessed with her, over the fact that she was a complete mystery to him. He'd ask questions to her about her, Yue would always brush these off as innocent curiosity from a young fairy. But then he started to appear too frequently inside the temple, and it began to unnerve Yue. Yue finally put her foot down and pushed him away, this quietly angered Nox and went to the only fairy who would give him answers. The Lord of Space, Nox would ask Lord Orion on who the priestess was, Lord Orion would reveal that she is a Petal Fairy just as she is. Nox couldn't believe it, he practically had a powerful fairy right in front of him compared to his Lord, who towered him and had no reach to it, the priestess on the other hand was smaller than the Lord. But was closer to mortals compared to the Lord of Space.
Nox began to stalk her, he entered reserved areas that only Yue had access to. He spoke to her followers to get more answers, but got none. In his rage he made her followers doubt her, made them believe she was a witch. Other wasp soldiers started to believe him as well, but Nox had different plans with the soldiers.
He told them that these followers were part of a cult, and that if anyone where to question him and doubt him or trying to report it to the Moon Priestess they would be killed. He managed to manipulate everyone, he made the soldiers believe he was doing a heroic act by stopping this so called priestess, many followers were peer pressured and sided with Nox and the soldiers and those who didn't were killed. Eventually on a bright day, the priestess got ambushed by Nox, the Soldiers, and ex-followers of her. It caught her by surprise and was petrified as she had no one on her side to protect her, not even the power of the moon could help as this ambush was in broad daylight.
As she fell down to her temple becoming severely injured, Nox finally had her at a vulnerable state. As he unveiled her exposing her face and her shattered petal piece on her forehead. Her ex-followers were shocked at the sight but became petrified that she was in fact a petal fairy all along. Guilt and remorse came over them and begged Nox and his soldiers to stop and leave her alone. Tensions arose between the groups and a fight ensued, giving Yue extra time to wake up and escape to a hidden room not even Nox knew of. Ultimately Yue's ex-followers met their demise by Nox for letting the Priestess escape. Nox and the soldiers in a panic came up with a false rumor that the Priestess was actually a witch and was eating her followers and killed all of them when Nox tried to expose her as a cannibal.
The Design on the left is Nox as a General. After the events that happened, Nox immediately reported what happened to the Moon Priestess to Lord Orion (the false rumor). This horrified Orion as she never expected something like this coming from Yue. Lord Orion thanked Nox for his bravery and pushed him up to general rank. Where has been in this position for decades to come, as he actively searched for the Priestess in her temple, trying to find any other secret entrance but with no luck. While Lord Orion reported this to The Sage of Order, and the Sage telling the other Petal Fairies of what happened. Meanwhile Yue hid inside of her abandoned temple, she hoped to never be found by anyone again. The attack traumatized her as her Petal was shattered she was too weak to rise the moon but even if she had the strength, she was too scared to do so. Leading nighttime to be in pure darkness, making nighttime become dangerous.
Once I solidify his design and maybe draw a few other fairies of this region along side a few soldiers. I will share this writing on my toy house fully updated! I would like to know y'alls thoughts I love hearing from you guys! ^_^
