Ha, then I guess you just have one of those faces that attracts thing like that. Just kidding.
That's still kind of weird. And disturbing. What happened?

Everyone who spoke to me today was very inappropriate.
Sounds like you weren't talking to the right people.
Hello again
I mean if you want to come help unpack you totally can.
I am totally there!
These look so good!
LadyLacy: Finn and I. I swear we are always taking the most ridiculous pictures!
Hello again
I know, I never thought we would actually meet in person. It’s awesome that after two years talking over the internet we finally get to meet in person. When I’m done unpacking and settling in we should hang out.
I know, it's crazy right? I still don't believe it's real. Alright sounds good to me. If you need any help let me know. I am dying to see you!
Tell Me Why? || Lacy & Travis
Travis was running a little late that morning. Not only had he woken up late, but he was late to each class. The halls were a mess that day and Travis continually forgot where his locker was. The final bell rang and Travis ran down the hall, almost dropping his binder but catching it before he and all his stuff toppled over. Opening the door to the art room, Travis took a deep breath. He knew the rules of the classroom. If he was late, he didn’t have to announce it; just sit down and listen for the rest of class. Taking a huff, he marched shamefully to his seat as everybody’s eyes were directed at him.
“Alright class,” the art teacher said to regain her students’ attention, “this will be the final project before Winter Break. As you can see, I’ve already paired you all up. Before you whine and groan, it wasn’t random. I took into account art styles and class ranks and matched you up with who I saw fit.” The art teacher made sure to emphasize the word “I” but the students groaned anyway, as if in unison. Groggily, Travis’s eyes wandered to the board and skimmed until he saw his name. His body instantly jolted up when he saw the name of his partner. Lacy Dear. If there were a list of people Travis wanted to be partners with, she would be far from being last—Lacy wouldn’t be on it. Travis raised his hand. “And so we’re clear, no you may not change partners. I don’t care if you have a creative indifference or anything of the sort. This is final.” Travis lowered his hand back down and sunk back in his chair. Great, he thought to himself.
After the guidelines for the project were passed out she started again, “Now, I’ll give you class time to meet with your partners and discuss ideas.” Travis looked across the room and met glares with Lacy. If a person were to ask anybody else, they would say she was pretty, kind, and giving, but Travis saw the real her once. Selfish, bitchy, and of course there was the fact that she took everything she had for granted. Nobody else saw it, but Travis could because when they first met, he’d only met the selfish side of her. “Vamoose!” the teacher urged, causing Travis to hop out of his seat and meet with Lacy on the other side of the room. “We’re partners,” was all he could muster up.
As Lacy sat there she heard the teacher begin to write on the board. Not bothering to look up; she opened her notebook and began to work on some homework for another class. The bell had yet to ring so she had some extra time to do what she wished. Unlike her classmates who chatted with one another on who they were going to paired up with. Lacy didn't exactly care too much. As long as it wasn't with Travis she was fine. She would probably do most of the work anyway. Lacy was that type of person. She liked to get things done, and fast. Sitting there she flipped through her history book and began to take notes and answer the questions in her review packet that lay open in front of her. She probably got down to the fourth question before the bell rang. Quickly she shut her book and set her things aside. That was when the door flew open and hit the back of the wall with a loud slam. Lacy's head popped up and shot for the doorway to see who it was. It was him. Late. Figures.
Shaking her head she turned her attention to the teacher who had just finished writing whatever she was writing on the board behind her. She began to talk about this project that they would be working on for their final grade before school let out. Lacy hated group projects. She was much better off on her own. No one to nag you and ask you questions. It was just better and what she preferred. Her eyes went from the woman standing in the front of the class and behind her to the chalkboard. Her eyes skimmed over the names. When she wasn't able to find hers she started to panic. Everyone she would be fine working with was already paired with something else. Finally she found her name near the end of the list to the right of the board. Sliding over, her eyes couldn't believe what she was reading. Was that his name? Travis? Travis Gray was her partner? Was this woman insane?
A loud and angrily type moan escaped her lips. She could have worked with anyone else in the room but instead the had to be stuck with him. The teacher had said something about styles and class ranks. Did they really match each other in style? He seemed so dark. There was no way this was going to work. Just before she could get the words out of her mouth the art teach exclaimed that there was no changing what was done. Even worse. Finally the class was told to meet up with their parents and start discussing what they would do. Lacy surely wasn't going to be the one to approach him. Why would she? He was always the one calling her names and never listening to a word she said. Why would she have to move. She would be perfectly fine putting his name on the project as she had finished it. Ripped from her thoughts as she heard a voice, she turned. "Oh, mister genius over here." she replied.
Hello again
Nothing too much, yourself?
Not a whole lot. What are you doing later? Because now that you actual live here, which is surreal, we need to do something!
Tell Me Why? || Lacy & Travis
It had been on of those days. The ones where you are just sick of school and everyone in it and all you want to do is go home and get right into bed. Yeah, that kind of day. Lacy was just sick of it. Plus, on top of that she had to go home to her parents and a screaming baby. Maybe this time they will actually ask her and want to know how her day went. Instead of cooing over that stupid baby. Luckily it was her last class of the day. Art. Why she decided to take art she did not know. It was an easy A. Something simple to gain more credits. However, if she would have known who was going to be in that class she would have never signed up. The one person she despised more than anything. Travis Gray. It wasn't that she tried to dislike him on purpose. He just got under her skin. He was quick to judge her and she couldn't do a thing to change his mind. Now all they do is bicker and fight. If she could drop the class she would. In a heartbeat. But sadly the deadline has past and she is stuck in a room with him.
Thank goodness the two sit far enough away from one another they don't have to look at each other. Lacy would lose her mind if he was to sit anywhere near her. Standing outside the door, she took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing." she whispered as she grabbed the handle and opened the door. Her chestnut brown orbs darted around the room. No sign of flea boy. But she did notice the writing on the blackboard. As she walked to her seat she read the words. End of term project. Partners will be assigned. Lacy's eyes widened. No. What are the chances of her being paired with Travis? Impossible. There were twenty three other people in the class, aside from her. There was no way they would be paired together.
Hello again
Hey. What's up?
I’m Meredith. It’s really nice to meet you. It’s nice to meet somebody as kind as you. It definitely brightened up my day.
Awe, you are just too sweet! I am only trying to do my part. I like to give back whenever I can. It makes me feel better about myself. It's nice to meet you as well Meredith!
Oh. Well, I’m glad you found something else you can do. Helping the less fortunate will definitely brighten up your day, I’m sure of it.
I am too and I hope you are right! By the way, I'm Lacy.
And I’m all for people helping out when they can—go volunteering!—but don’t you have people to spend Christmas with? Family? Friends? Anybody? Well, besides the less fortunate, of course.
I enjoy it. Um, my parents are going out of town for the holiday so I am stuck at home with my baby sister and my aunt who I don't actually get along with. So as you can see I would much rather be out of the house and what better way to spend my time!
Wow, that’s very kind. I thought people like that only existed in stories, but you’re actually very…good. Is this something you do often?
Awe, thank you. That's sweet of you to say. Yeah. I try to do my part in any way I can.
Wait. Paperwork? What kind of plans do you have? Meeting the president? Taking over Russia? Building your own corporation? Feel free to stop me anytime.
I would love to meet the President! That would be amazing. Or even creating my own corporation would be cool. Russia not so much. But no. I am volunteering at the soup kitchen Christmas Eve and Christmas day to serve dinner. I am also going to be an elf for when Santa comes and gives presents to the kids.
Yeah, it does. Cool. So anything new with you?
No, not really. Besides a failed math test and my parents leaving for a Christmas holiday in like a week, not much. What about you Finn?
