imagine being Jon Matteson and trying to explain your first StarKid show

"Okay, so yeah. I was in a musical. And i played a man, a man that did not like musicals. While in a musical. And so, the man- No, the guy, who didn't like musicals was the main character. and my ONLY role was the guy who didn't like musicals, for like,t he whole show. and the musical was named The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. And then- Then we made another show. Another musical. Where we had the guy who did not like musicals. And then we did two seasons of something called Nightmare Time due to COVID and lockdown on ZOOM meetings. And then we did another musical. Featuring... The guy who did not like musicals. SO yeah, that was my main role in the Hatchetfield series. OH and also Nightmare Time also included the guy who didn't like musicals. No, no, but I still like musicals. Oh, and we did a whole reprise of The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals- No, not the character, the show. Remember, the SHOW was named The Guy Who DIdn't Like Musicals- Well, yes, i was also the guy who didn't like musicals but - okay i can see how this is confusing to you but look-

theres an assumption that if an alien has an alien gender system they wouldnt understand homophobia but maybe they just have their own more complex version of homophobia. alien society with eight genders and a horribly complex web of what is considered socially acceptable that makes the gender binary look like easy mode. i'm inventing homophobia 2 and it's terrible.

PLEASE listen to people are more disabled than you. Please. I'm so tired of seeing "but I'M disabled and can still ____, you're just lazy" everywhere. Or seeing "it's not that big of a deal if you're denied these accomodations... it's just less convenient/makes it harder" from OTHER DISABLED PEOPLE. You're just ableist. Please listen when people tell you that they're not getting the help they need.
