Alight! unrelated post to what I normally upload! But I wanted to put it out there!

How many of you liked Aphmau's series "Minecraft Diaries". but got saddened it ended, or disappointed that certian things were mentioned, then never brought up again?

How many more of you just like watching Minecraft roleplays, whether it be DSMP or more?

As dead as this fandom may be, I really want to give back to the content that basically raised me for so many years. I still adore these characters and a lot of them really do have my heart. So I’m going to continue to post for this fandom, even if I’m the only one it it. Maybe once I’m done with my spree, I’ll convert this blog into a general Minecraft blog, but until then expect my MCD content to plauge y’all for a bit. Look at–look at me. look me in the eyes. You can make armor look beautiful without cutting out huge swathes of metal. around the joints no less!! do you wanna be making bets on how long it’ll take you to lose your ligaments?? are you fucking kidding me?

Oh, you wanna make armor look pretty? here!

how about some engraving! some gold plating, perhaps? maybe some exquisite steel detailing?

oh, what’s that? you want something that’s easy to see on a minecraft skin?

How about some color, hmm? some paint or plating on the armor itself, some padding, something underneath chainmail that can show through? literally anything?

Or maybe get a theme? and Insignia? a symbol? garroth and zane both do this, with the black cross for O’knasis. Look that these fantastic motherfuckers, with their bird and lion themed armor. Maybe use some distinct shapes, like these giant pauldrons!!! gorgeous

how about you get a cape?? or a one of those things that the person on the left has, the yellow cloth thing???? idk what it’s called but it’s very cool and it adds color and it’s flowey!!! that is a perfectly acceptable way to spruce up some armor that doesn’t take away from its protectiveness!!!! or get a tabard (that’s the dress thing that goes over the armor, it’s in garroth’s original mcd skin) also, garroth, laurance, and dante already have capes, so there’s already a precedent!!!

Tl;dr aphmau stop putting your characters in shitty bikini armor because it is neither protective nor fashionable. also please put some pants on, i have no issue with you wearing skirts or dresses, but you’re the leader of a rebellion against some of the most powerful political forces in the world, you’re gonna get an arrow in your thigh. god

anyways, this is how I’m gonna be drawing cadenza from now on

A work in progress of laurance in different stages of his life (and of course a few winks at some shirtless ideas~👀) I want to water color it then color over it. I just hope it turns out well.
