What I love about this story is that the author made Adrien and Marinette incredibly flawed. They're both struggling in their own ways and say things that hurt people. Adrien in particular has a lot of vices and it makes him so real and relatable ♥
( Also the dialogue between the two is just chef's kiss!! Sweet funny and at times incredibly hot )

My fellow cis ladies, here's three transphobic arguments I want you to know now so you don't fall for them later because this is the hot topic gateway into conservatism for women.
Just to be clear, it's-it's-it's the Nazi kind of conservatism as well.
Remember "divide and conquer" is the name of the game, so don't be divided!
First thing transphobes are is they're gender essentialists, so they will tell you "men are inherently bad and evil and it's in their DNA, and women by contrast are good and fragile and precious." And it's the same logic as like "oh, women are more sensitive and nurturing, which is why they should stay at home." It's bullshit because women are not inherently anything, women are human beings with free will and idolization is just dehumanization with better PR [public relations]. I, as a woman, have capacity for evil, which makes my choice to be good that much more important.
Number two thing, and you will notice if you listen to TERFs [trans-exclusionary radical feminists] long enough is that they hate being women, they have a lot of internalized misogyny, they think being a woman is about pain and suffering. The attitude that women are predestined to suffer and men are predestined to make us suffer is a very defeatist attitude, it means that you can never see a future without misogyny in it.
And the number three thing, and this is the stupidest argument: They will tell you that cis men are pretending to be trans women to go into women's bathrooms. Men just simply don't need to do all of that. This is stranger-danger rhetoric which is based around this fear of "oh, strangers are the most dangerous thing to your child or to you" when it's statistically not true. Abusers are more likely to be people that you already know, which is bleak, I'm sorry, but that is the truth. Abusive men simply don't need to go to that effort.
Trans women are our sisters, they're our allies, and a world where a trans women is free and safe to express herself and her gender presentation as she wants to is a world where all women get to do that.

I wanted to reach out because I can't even imagine the anger and fear that some of you must be experiencing after being told in the US that your lived experience is "imagined" and that you in fact don't exist.

Oh man, this is such a hard question! And also I don't want our characters to die T^T.
But I will try to answer your question as best as I can. To win squid game, I was trying to consider a few things. One; what are the stakes for failing? Why are the characters entering squid game? Is it to protect someone? Because I think most of the characters would not want to harm or kill anyone under most circumstances.
Second I was trying to consider what each character's threshold for violence is. And then the question... is this like a battle royal, where all mlb characters are playing against each other? I know this is a hypothetical question, but the mlb characters are all so real to me that my stomach is in so much turmoil with this question. Squid game or battle royal would be such a horrible situation to put all of them in T^T.
But since you asked, I did some brainstorming and here is what I think. Apologies in advance, this got incredibly long lol
I didn't analyse all the characters, because what I wrote already got way out of hand xD
MARINETTE:
STRENGTH:
Medium. She could hold her own, because of her Agility and smarts, but strength is not her top stat
AGILITY & STEALTH:
Medium-High. I know Mari is clumsy, but as a clumsy person myself I know that it ends up giving you amazing reflexes. Her stealth would be shit though lol
EMOTION:
I think Mari would be one of the last ones standing. Emotionally if her self righteousness kicks in, she would be able to go quite far. If Lila and her were in the running there would be no way she would let Lila win, and therefore might do things she normally would not do. If she is paired against a friend, she would hate herself for hurting someone she loves, but I could see her doing it under certain circumstances.
ADRIEN :
STRENGTH:
High. You'd want Adrien on your side
AGILITY & STEALTH:
High. Would make it through red light green light game for sure.
EMOTION:
Would not make it till the end I think. Against some people he loves, like Nino I think he would be crying his eyes out, but I almost feel like Nino would give in first and let Adrien win. But if he was paired against Mari, I think he would choose not to act and sacrifice himself rather than live with the pain of having to hurt her.
ALYA:
STRENGTH:
High. I think Alya would kick ass
AGILITY & STEALTH:
Medium/High. I think Alya's agility in her normal form is mediocre, but her stealth and smarts are off the chart.
EMOTION:
I think Alya has a High Moral Center. What I mean by that is that an outside goal would be more important then her internal wants. I do think Alya would get really far, but I think she would calculate the odds of the people left to see who would have a better chance of winning. If that turns out to be someone other than herself, then I think she would sacrifice herself for that goal.
NINO:
STRENGTH:
Mediocre. Somehow I feel like Alya is the stronger one of the two.
AGILITY & STEALTH:
Medium. I think Ninos agility is not that great, because I don't think he's led a life where he's been threatened a lot. He is such a chill dude that he's not used to reacting quickly.
EMOTION:
Similar to Adrien, I don't think Nino would make it to the end. I think he would fail before Adrien even. Against certain people Nino would choose not to act and let others win. I think he's someone that loves really deeply. I think he loves others more than himself.
ROSE:
STRENGTH:
Low. I honestly was humming and hawing about this. We know Rose is sick, but does that mean she's not strong? Or does it mean she has low stamina? She could be working out in her spare time for all we know. But for this AU I felt like Rose doesn't hold Physical strength as a value. I think mentally Rose is a really strong character and could withstand quite a lot.
AGILITY & STEALTH:
Medium. Roses Physical condition is not the best, but I think she enjoys moving.
EMOTION:
I think if Rose could make it through some of the first stages and be paired with a strong team she could go really far. I think she has a certain sense of self righteousness that comes out at times, which could push her to do things she normally would not. The fact that Rose sings Hard Rock Metal makes me feel like there is a side in her that we don't often see. Similar to Alya Rose can see things with a larger perspective in mind and she would play a smart game. If that means she'd have to loose, she would choose to do so.
JULEKA:
STRENGTH:
Medium-High. I think Juleka is innately strong. I think her mom would ask her to do a lot of tasks on the boat and she would gain strength naturally. I think she's stronger then Mari, but not as strong as Alya.
AGILITY & STEALTH:
Low, Medium. Juleka is a bit slow to react. I think she's good at hiding because she doesn't really want to be seen, so she knows how to disappear
EMOTION:
I think Juleka would be one of the first people to go, mainly because she struggles with self worth. She doesn't actually see what a wonderful person she is, so she may just give up and feel like the world is better off without her T^T.
I love how over the mlb seasons Juleka slowly gains confidence and started to love herself more ❤︎
CHLOÉ:
STRENGTH:
Medium. I know Chloé doesn't ever lift anything, but I have this feeling that she values strength and secretly works out. That said, she would pretend to be weak when it serves her.
AGILITY & STEALTH:
Low. I think Chloe never became very coordinated, even with the time she put into pretending to be Ladybug.
EMOTION:
I have a feeling that Chloe would be one of the earlier people to exit the game. I read before that one consistent measure of success is Grit.
Grit is the drive to push on, even when faced with repeated adversity or failure.
I don't thing Chloé has Grit, which would result in a lack of drive to push through till the end. I also think she feels alone a lot and I could see the night time sleeping arrangements really getting to her.
LUKA:
STRENGTH:
High. I think Luka works out ❤︎
AGILITY & STEALTH:
Medium to High. Luka is so in touch with emotions and can see things really clearly that I think he knows his body really well.
EMOTION:
I actually think Luka would be one of the first people to go. He's such an empathetical person that I don't think he would want to play. I think the only reason he would stay in is to help others make it through a game, but if it came to a one on one, I think he'd surrender. He also believes in others so deeply that I think that he would trust in the strength of his friends.
LILA:
STRENGTH:
Medium to High. I feel like she's stronger then Mari
AGILITY & STEALTH:
High. Lila has lots of hidden skills. I think agility and stealth are two of those.
EMOTION:
Even though I'm not a fan of Lila, I think she would do quite well in this game. She puts herself before others and is great at manipulating people. I think she's be one of the last ones standing.
I think the last 4 contestants standing would be
Rose, Alya, Lila and Mari
This was so hard!!!! I honestly was second guessing myself a lot, especially with Chloé, Rose and Luka. Like, Second chance implies that Luka has a high tolerance for suffering and that he can overcome hardship...would that trump him fighting his friends?!?

In my mind Adrien fell asleep while Mari and him were watching TV. They aren't together yet so seeing Adrien let go of his perfect self tears at Mari's heartstrings. She can't help but continue to talk to him as he is loosing the battle with consciousness, mumbling answers, until his breathing evens out. For a breathless minute Mari is just in awe and the words she's been longing to say are stuck in her throat until she whispers them into existence.
online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.
and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.
there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.

It's my first time drawing them and they are so pretty T^T!! I'm so in love with them being taller then Adrien and Adrien not knowing how to deal with that.

Surprisingly I actually hadn't. I think because I was living in an AU world created in my head. Somehow I kept thinking of stories with Marinette transformed as "Lady Noir" (I call her Dark Paw) rather then "Shadybug".
But since you are asking, I think that since Marinette dislikes Adrien (at least in my head-canon), Shadybug would dislike Adrien too.
That said I think being Shadybug would let her see a different side to Adrien, since Griffe Noire in turn dislikes Shadybug too.
Untransformed, Adrien doesn't quite know how to interact with Marinette because he really likes her which makes their interactions quite awkward with lots of misunderstandings.
But I think Shadybugs interactions with Adrien would be filled with much more heated dislike, which I think Shadybug (Marinette) would know how to deal with better. I could even imagine that she would miss that interaction in her daily life. The simplicity of it.
I think for Mari, there is something freeing about telling people off and having someone equally give back in turn. She wouldn't have to put up a front or pretend.
I could totally see Mari getting closer with Adrien as a result.
