I feel like somewhere deep down inside he had this looked tapped down for several years, even decades and people are secretly imitating this mans style without him truly knowing he is starting that so called “hipster” trend.
If I knew this man in real life I would shake this mans hand and thank him. I would slowly, with great excitement explain to him that there is people that most likely switched from the baggy pants and wife beater look, to this gentleman style. He could of possibly started the hipster trend and never even knew!
Now before people start to get puzzled and think I jumped on the over crowded Titanic sized fan boat full of hipsters and are slowly traveling through the hipster waves....let me be quite frank with you....I do not care for this generations hipster trend for personal reasons.
Mainly involving the fact that I have been asked a absurd amount of times "if my glasses are real".....You mean the glasses I got at Lens Crafters 9 years ago but I still keep the original frames?? You mean the ones that at one point in my life made me look like Professor Trelawny (Look it up please) to the point I'm surprised I didn't predict peoples futures at any given time?? (Probably would of made a fortune...) but I digress....I can carry on for days about the reasons why I don't care too much for the hipster breed this generation has twisted up. However looking back at it now, I am somewhat thankful when people ask me nowadays about my glasses. What has once made kids have the fascination to throw rocks at me and pick on me when I was a whee little one because of my glasses, has now became a over abundant trend. I don’t like the hipster trend but I don’t fully hate it. I can fully be able to walk the streets and not feel ashamed and threaten by a piece of glass and frames that have been my own personal hell for my childhood....
However when it comes to the "hipster style" and the "gangsta style" I will always choose hipster any day of the week, hands down.
P.S. The reason why I have to choose the term “hipster” in this little rant is because in this generation what is considered classy and elegantly dressed attire is no longer suitable to be called such....it’s now called “hipster”. I can’t tell you how many times I mention something about the way a person dresses and often use the words such as “dapper, classy, elegant” and it falls on deaf ears and I often get a dead pan look on peoples faces, which ultimately results into me having to explain what these words mean. So for arguments sake I will say hipster in this little rant. For the people that know what the true meaning of dapper, classy or elegant is and the proper way to use it, then bravo to you, you get a biscuit. For the others....I am not upset. I just wish people would understand the difference or use better words that are aesthetically pleasing to hear.
