I had a fist fight with an ostrich. It did not go well. I ended up in the hospital with one arm missing, and my brother walked into my hospital room, slapped me in the face, and gave me an ostrich egg with a bow tied around it.

Funny story, the auto-correct changed “Emu” to “Emily” when I was naming the png of the Emu, so that’s her canon name I guess.

I was sitting across from my cat at a distorted version of my dining room table. My cat was wearing a monocle and bow tie, drinking tea from my tea set, and speaking with a transatlantic accent. He told me he had created this dream, and he was only able to talk to me when I was dreaming. I said, “I though you were just a normal cat,” and he replied, “I am an ordinary house pet, but I’m also a gentleman and a being of darkness,” and then I woke up.

She goes to an event called ‘Tales & Tails’ at the Claverack library. At nursing homes, what’s really neat is she’ll go right to them in wheelchairs, and you just see a whole change in the person’s demeanor. It’s just very uplifting and they share stories of their dogs. It’s the perfect job for her because she just loves attention.”
