Dude, your side invaded the karamel tag first? The block list was created by people that wanted to be able to view the tag without constantly being assaulted by antis, and was only passed around to people that asked for it? and when the people in charge of the list were told that some of the shippers were actually nice and didn’t post in the pro tags THEY WERE REMOVED FROM THE LIST. The list was created AFTER YOUR SIDE SPAMMED THE PRO TAG. Not before. BECAUSE OF IT.

The karamel side has absolutely reacted in awful ways and I’ve called out plenty of people for being homo/biphobic and just all around gross but YOURS STARTED IT
The majority of karamel shippers just want to fucking have their own tag and have tried to make MULTIPLE TAGS as safe spaces that YOUR SIDE CONTINUES TO POST IN. Which you yourself are engaging in.

i can remember lots of moments of receiving hate before the karamels even thought of the blocklist. and i can understand wanting to block a few people. it makes sense, there were blogs that were on the ‘watch out’ list when i was into tw. but over 2000 blogs. that is beyond ridiculous. at that point, you realize that you’re not actually trying to protect yourselves and you’re just trying to get rid of a demographic of a show. there’s a million different ways you could’ve gone about avoiding whatever hate you were trying to ignore and yet you chose the option that allowed people to be targeted out just because they disagreed with you. making a few changes to the list because you realized people were nice doesn’t change the fact that the list was made in the first place
being lgbt+ doesn’t prevent you from being homophobic, first off. and while i’m sorry you were abused (nobody deserves that), supporting karamel undermines the abuse that others have been submitted to. the issue with karamel initially lays with the fact that there are people out there who recognized the relationship as an abuse they suffered at the hands of and other people made illegitimate the way that they felt, the majority of them just because they like chris wood (don’t even try to argue that, you know it’s true).
and no, i’m not engaging in it lmao. i admit i’ve posted in the karamel tag a few times, but i’ve realized calling people out on their bullshit head on is much more effective. i’m calling out housegand for their bullshit because they’re someone on your side of the fandom who’s been known to post homophobic, racist, and ableist remarks. but no, please, continue to make me out to be the big bad ‘anti’.
