Of course I can’t force anyone to like David Bowie, but I can and will fight your ass if you try to tell me he was a pedophile and/or Nazi and a bad person in general.

David Bowie did so much for the community Tumblr cares the most for - the LBTQ community. He broke all the gender rules and standards, he was an icon, an inspiration, a role model to so many people.

Personally, I only really found out about him when it was already too late, but my love and respect for this man is still very big. His death is a great loss not only for the music industry but for society as well. He really was an amazing, intelligent, empathetic, beautiful person who, unlike many others, didn’t let fame cloud his vision.

As for the pedophile part, that girl changed the story several times and she contradicted herself.

And Nazi? Really? Go read about that photo. Just do us all a favor and do your research before you bitch about stuff.

I understand that you don’t have a life and I’m not judging you for that. (Though you should get one). But at least during these few days and especially on January 8th and 10th, leave this man in piece.

If for no other reason, at least out of respect for the dead.
