Columbo is the only vibes based detective. He just goes up to a rich asshole with a completely flawless alibi and goes “you did it.” Zero evidence. Just vibes. And he’s always right.

that kind of feels like an insult to Columbo because no, he doesn't make his judgements based on vibes, he notices stuff every other person would take for granted, in this sequence the murder victim was on a pool and the first responders had determined that it was an accident by slipping, he then checked the water outside of the pool and then the water from the pool and found the first incongruence to decide that it might have been a murder.

He also reads the suspects through his facade of a bumbling detective, and by hounding them with his "one more thing" he hopes to find any crack that can give him any clue or make the murderer slip.

I love Columbo too much to let that slip past.

I painted my nails for the first time, and even though I did a poor job, I am pretty happy about them, I visibly smile every time I look at them and feel butterflies in my stomach, who knew gender-affirming activities would feel so good.

(also I feel sad about not continuing my daily drawing practice but between getting pretty sick and school being a pain I haven't had the motivation, I want to go back to it soon though)

Only managed to do this yesterday, I am getting more comfortable drawing hair, even if it's only one kind of it, and I am trying to add variety to the eyes, tried adding the eyelids but they might look a bit weird, didn't put much detail into the eyebrows, I still haven't gotten another eraser, but overall, I like this drawing, I think I am getting better

Attempted to make dynatron again, they are maybe better than my first attempt?

Also tried to make some goblins, that last one I like a lot, I think its the best hair I've done so far, also I think I figured out how to draw the shape of the head to be mostly however I like, at least from the front, I hope it translates into a perspective drawing as well.

Daily practice #5

Tried to draw Dynatron from Mighty number 9 (emphasis on tried), I keep on drawing mismatched eyes, or mismatched everything, to be honest, it's really hard for me to draw the two sides of anything mostly the same, they always end up clearly different, I wonder if there's a drawing exercise specifically for that problem.

The character I tried to draw btw, she is probably my favorite design out of anything inti creates has made

Tried to do a goblin this time, but I messed up the ears kinda

Also finally tried to do bangs, they might not be perfect but not bad for my first time, I think?

Overall I do like the hair (even if I messed up the right side) but I am unhappy about the eyes, I might do a whole session just practicing that

Daily practice #3

Tried to do something similar again from the day 1 practice, I am happier about this one, I think I am getting better at making eyes at the very least, but I need to look up how to properly make hair, I don't feel like I am consistent at all with it.

I also tried to make some ear practice for goblin ears, since one of the characters I want to draw the most is one, she has such a simple design but it's still very hard to me, hope I can get there soon.

Daily practice #2

Tried to replicate the character from the previous post but messed the proportions up, overcorrected the eye too much and it ended up looking bruised, gave em a piercing and no hair on one side to make them look punk, but overall not very happy with the result

I then proceeded to just doodle around, trying to make some circles and some doodles I do to calm myself, you can feel the frustration I feel like, overall not a very productive day

Daily practice #1

I really like how the eyes turned out, the ears are too small but I ran out of eraser, same for the nose.

I have done a lot of practices with the mouth closed so I forced myself to do one with it open, and just made it like a cat because I thought it would be fun.

The hair is not perfect but I think it's a big improvement over my previous attempts, I did it while following one of the simplest tips for hair, choosing the origin and draw it from there, overall pretty happy with how this turned out.
