I just would like to point it out that last tuesday, December 11th, 84 years ago, Georg and Amalia were at each other’s throats at the Cafe Imperiale. As you remember, they have set their calendars for tuesday and they brought that chapter to close.

Yesterday (Wed), December 12th, 84 years ago, Georg gave Amalia some vanilla ice cream; Arpad was promoted to a clerk by a weakened Mr Maraczek; Ilona told all about her new love, Paul, to Sipos; And Kodaly was utterly fired.

And today, December 13th, of course, we only have Twelve days to Christmas!

Here’s a little story. A couple summers ago, I took a biology class and wrote goofy comments in the textbook. I had a fun time and being a total dork was what made taking that class bearable. At the end of the textbook, I wrote a little note, taking credit for many of the silly comments I had made and I wrote down my Tumblr, so future students could check out my blog for more hilariousness. That said, is there anyone out there who found my blog due to that biology textbook? This might be a long shot, but I’m legitimately curious.

Ok, we’re all about 90′s nostalgia these days and that’s awesome, but with our nostalgia could we please give a little love to all those gorgeous film adaptations of those novels from around the turn of the century? Think Black Beauty, the Secret Garden, and A Little Princess. People aren’t making movies like that anymore. They were so well crafted and heartfelt, and so soothing to the soul.
