Favorite Stories

This morning I awoke thinking of stories; of music, memories and imagination. I meditated over what my favorites might be, the ones so full of detail they were like living another life.

I thought about the story I would love to hear and it was a tale so full of passion that it put fire in my veins, it’s created in such a way that it could be about anything and I would still love it.

So, I thought about the story I’d choose to see in my dreams and it was a tale full of heroes, melodies and all things equivalent to sunshine.

Then, I thought about the story in which I would like to live and it was a tale full of imperfections, of heated arguments at 2 AM. But it was also filled with the most glorious kisses shared at the start of each new day and slow dancing in the kitchen. Sundays were spent with a cup of tea at the piano, creating more of my favorite stories. Every day held a new adventure, a new trial, a new miracle and each day was perfect in its own way. That story is ours and it is the one I am looking forward to most of all.
