Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation looks great on mature skin.
Too Faced Born This Way foundation. Works well on mature skin.
What makeup? What day? I'm needing to blog every day. Or I get confused. Lol.
More foundation testing. And I have no idea about this one.

Old Gal Glow
Here's the thing. If you look up "make-up for over 50," you run into a lot of do and don't. I say, do what pleases you. What you like. Now, there are better and worse ways to apply make-up. Blended eyeshadow usually looks better than unblended, unless it's a deliberate look. Same for cheek color or highlight. There are a lot of tricks and tips for looking natural or dramatic or smokey or vintage. So, you control the make-up look you are attempting to achieve. For me, ease and comfort are big. I like looking good and more or less natural. But I also like to glow. I believe I look best glowing. I see reference to the idea that older people should stay away from metallics or sparkles and stick to matte. Glow highlights wrinkles and makes bags look baggier. I say, Pooh. If I like it, then it works. I also tend to like creams better than powders because they glide on easier over my less-than-elastic skin. I have learned to work with cream shadows, which seem trickier than powder. I purchased a cute little sponge to work on my undereye and eyelid areas. I can blend with them. I also learned to put product on the back of my hand to control the placement of color and amount. I usually start with less and build. That's especially important to help with my preferred look. Matte lipstick has not been my friend lately. I'm too dry and have taken to using a lip topper of some kind. I like Lime Crime's metallics for that purpose. Color that is dark and harsh makes my lips look thin as I lose collegan. If I use another color and blend in the middle, especially a lighter or moister color, I like the look better.
