Jean-Paul Gaultier is an incredible visionary. His fall-winter collection in 1995 already hinted at the arrival of women at the helm of the motorbike. We remember that in 1995 the ladies took a seat in the back as passengers!

But to unveil his FW 1995 collection Jean-Paul Gaultier did not spare the decorum and gave us an eyeful as a Harley-Davidson appeared on the runway with a young woman on the handlebars! Vombrissement, Harley-Davidson and Jean-Paul Gaultier then presented us with the FW 1995 collection, all woven leather, black and jewels in heavy silver chains. The story doesn’t tel but something tells me he is no stranger to the motorcycle world and that he certainly doesn’t ride a Vespa.

That year the MadMaxette like collection, so named by Jean-haul Gaultier himself, is a collection for ‘courageous, confident women who are very much in control of their lives’.

Why am I talking about motorbikes anyways? I could be taking about many other things. But in the fall of 2022, movement and immersion are 2 themes of predilection. After 2 years of a COVIDIEN confinement, taking to the road on a motorbike gives us a new lease on life, instilling that sense of freedom and vitality we so despareltly need to warm, reactivate an reignite the flame within us. Simply put… Freedom a sense of freedom we so desperately need.

😎 SPECIAL WEEKEND After a rainy Friday with torrential winds over Montreal I decided that Saturday would be the perfect time to take a walk in the wild. Fortunately for me, I have a friend who likes to take pictures! So we left, heading for the woods of Nuns' Island. This time, I was not behind my OLYMPUS OMD-E1... but in front! A little uncomfortable but managed to control my fear of the frontal objective! | With Pierre, my friend and photographer for the day, we did a fun photo safari. In the woods there are many... play stations for children, a stream... the river, the woods, a rock... a lamp post here and there... in short, I didn't lack a set or a place to shoot. | As I said, it was a first for me to be in front of the camera and to be the subject of my lens. Pierre not mastering my camera gave rise to several blooper, missed takes, artistic blur and so on! But in the end it was a breeze, fun and playful, enjoying the outdoors while having a blast taking photographs! Heureusement pour moi, j'ai un ami qui aime faire de la photo! Alors nous sommes partis, direction boisé de l'Ile-des-Soeurs. Cette fois, je n'étais pas derrière ma OLYMPUS OMD-E1... mais devant! Un peu inconfortable mais réussi à maitriser ma peur de l'objectif frontal! | Avec Pierre, mon ami et photographe pour la journée, nous avons fait un safari photo amusant. Dans le boisé il y a de tous... des stations de jeux pour les enfants, un cours d'eau... le fleuve, le boisé, une roche... un lampadaire ici et là ... bref on me manquait pas de décor ni d'emplacement pour shooter. | Comme je l'ai dit c'était une première pour moi d'être devant la caméra et d'être le sujet de ma lentille. Gala de l'ADISQ | Tapis Rouge 2018

Le 40e GALA de l’ADISQ nous a apporté son lot d’émotions. Magnifiquement animé par Louis-Josée Houde qui a rempli son rôle d’animateur comme un professionnel et… habiller comme une carte de mode ‘classique’.

Le Tapis Rouge nous a réservé des looks classiques et excentriques autant chez les dames que chez les hommes. Il y aura trois palmarès cette année: les Top 10 féminins, les Top 10 masculins et les Top Excentriques.
