i was 15 when i wrote that & now, looking back at all my journals from 9 years old until now.. some could argue that i was way too dramatic. the fact of the matter is, i am a person, a woman that feels every emotion deeply.

something has surfaced & all i can think about is how insulted i feel. im praying that the Lord guides me & cleanses my heart of any ill feelings. He is using me to make people better & for that, I should be proud and honored to do so. sometimes i just hate that it can mean me getting hurt in the process.

i'm all about forgiveness. i don't want to be bitter, i don't want to be insecure, i don't want my days to go on dragging because the burden of someone else's wrong doings are weighing me down. forgiveness gives you peace of mind & peace of heart (in my humble opinion) & gives you the chance to move on with your life. i've dedicated this summer to a lot of focusing on my self. i'm happy to say my progression is going well. i did end up getting a summer job, well more than a summer job.. i pulled a full-time job & unfortunately i ended the school year (@ my elementary school job) & told my students i wouldn't be returning. some of them took the news pretty bad.. but they will keep me updated on their school work & i definitely intend to visit.

welp. i finished my spring semester 2 weeks ago. finally. it was dragging for what seemed like forever. i passed stats with a B! my dance history class.... i have to take it over.

it’s been about a month and some change and i’m doing okay. some days are better than others.. i’ll be perfectly fine one day and curled in the fetal position another day... i miss you. certain songs, movies, food, etc remind me of you and to be honest, they aren’t as good. its bittersweet right now but everything will work out the way its supposed to. *and happy birthday to pops. i know he’s in heaven watching over you, making sure you’re straight.

since december i’ve been planning this summer of self-awareness and creativity. try new things, go new places... think outside the box. meditation and of course.... the gym. lol i want to take boxing classes. ohhhh and i need a summer job.

ohhhh. annnd i ordered whiskey, words, and a shovel vol. II (should be arriving tomorrow) and the boyfriend book. be on the look out for some reviews.
