Thinking about PetalSpade a little too in depth because what if Flowery is able to change Susie's mind about King which is why he's let out (eventually (after he isn't going on about his whole Lightners should leave them alone thing forever (AKA still trying to kill them)))

I think it's fun to think about Flowery and Susie making a deal where Susie promises to let him out if only Flowery is able to make King chill out (it works (it worked a little too well now they're holding hands))

I'm slowly getting a hang of drawing Flowery although I'm having trouble trying to figure out their heights

I like to think Flowery is so good for King that he somehow redeems him. King himself wouldn't even know how Flowery did that. He just finds himself out of jail one day, not hating on Lightners that much anymore

Yep yep yep. I like the phrasing that he shifted so slowly and naturally that King doesn't even notice- because from all the hints about his past King DOES (or at least did) care about Lightners (the classroom darkworld itself seemed very heavy into Lightner worship), he's just got baggage so severe he tossed a piece of himself aside after convincing himself it was weakness. He'd still have baggage, but not as... murdery baggage after building a friendship (AND MORE) with Flowery.

I like to think of it as "King gets therapy" type of thing and it works when it's Flowery doing it because he understands in some type of degree (and will not go away). Didn't work when Ralsei tried it because he has his whole "we are meant to serve Lightners no matter what" thing going on while Flowery can see Kings perspective and guide him through his feelings (since it seems like he only hates Lightners due to his guilt from getting damaged and leading to the card deck getting put away)

I saw people shipping Tenna and Flowery on Twitter a few weeks ago and my first reaction was "what about Flowery x King" and fought the urge to draw them (I failed)
