PSA: Zine File Archives / Google Drive

Hello!  For the duration of roughly two years a while back, you might remember that I ran a few zines.  This is a notice for anyone who has purchased a PDF zine that I worked on.  I ran zines in Voltron fandom so I’m tagging there, but if you’ve run any zine in the past five-ish years, this might be relevant to you too.

Starting June 1, 2023, Google will be purging files from accounts that have been inactive for over two years.  (The policy actually starts June 1, 2021, but the two-year inactivity buffer means deletion will happen no earlier than 2023.)  Naturally, this applies to accounts for any zines that are no longer active.

I will try to periodically login to zine accounts I have access to, but I recommend downloading any purchased files as soon as possible to avoid loss of access.  If a file you’ve purchased is deleted, please reach out via the zine’s social media and someone will try to get it back online or send you the file.  (I personally will mostly likely see messages from Tumblr/email, but some mods are more active on Twitter so whatever should be fine.)

Thank you all for supporting this project, whether you were a participant, a buyer, or someone who cheered us on :D  It’s so heartwarming to be part of a community of amazing fanworkers and fans.

It’s been over a year since the planning for this project first started (February 2017!) and it’s been really cool to see how everything has progressed.  Working with all the participants has been such a blessing, and everyone blew us away with their ideas and creativity.

If you missed buying the zine and would still like to see it, we’ll send you a PDF copy if you donate 15$ USD to Direct Relief, our selected zine charity.  Email the timestamped receipt of your donation to [email protected], and we’ll send you the digital zine!  This offer is open indefinitely (but if that changes, we’ll put out an update.)

Be sure to follow our participants on social media, and don’t hesitate to leave feedback if you have any. :) If you have any questions about this zine or zines in general; or if you’d like to chat about anything else, hit us up!

RevHOLT is a Matt Holt-centric collection of fic and art in a continuous shared canon.  Matt’s story is told through 8 fics (16,000+ words) and 30+ illustrations across five sections of his life and 84 pages!  In addition to the zine, we are also selling two gorgeous postcards, one spectacular sticker sheet, and one amazing acrylic charm.
