I've gotten a bunch of asks to promote fundraisers that I haven't had the chance to look over but since I've got time rn I figured 1 post would be the best way to go about it. If you have funds to spare, here are some people you can support:
Lynn & Ahmed Matar and their children (@leenmata-1) - #33 on @gazavetters list. They need money for food, medicine, and to get somewhere safe. Going through the Rafah crossing will cost them 15k euros, not including the cost of passports, place tickets, etc. Currently have raised 4% of their goal
Ahmed Moner and his children (@ahmedmoneersblog) - #7 on gazavetters list. He needs money for essentials for himself and his children. Currently has raised 12% of his goal.
Ghada and her family (@ghada-family) - #6 on gazavetters list. They need money to get through the Rafah crossing into Egypt. Ghada and her family (including her parents in their late 50s and early 60s, and young children) have been displaced several times, and are currently residing in a school, where disease is spreading rampantly and they don't have access to food, medicine, or clean water. Currently has raised 26% of her goal
Habib and his family (@abuadam86) - #187 on gazavetters list. They need money to get through the Rafah crossing, as well as to get medicine for their disabled son, Adam. Adam is quadriplegic, and needs to take a medication twice daily to prevent muscle spasms. He's also lost a significant amount of weight due to the lack of appropriate food for him, and is developing new health issues from the dust and pollution caused by the constant bombing. Currently they've raised 13% of their goal.
Ghazi Al Amoudi and his family (@alamoudiblog) - #89 on gazavetters list. Ghazi lost his home and workplace from bombing, leaving him and his family with nowhere safe to stay and no way to earn any money. He needs money evacuate himself and his family, totaling 7 people. Currently he's raised 32% of his goal.
Muhammad Ramadan (@mohammadram) - Currently unvetted but donations on gofundme are protected, and reverse searches of his photos turned up nothing so I'm believing this is most likely legitimate. Muhammad is living in a tent with his 1 and a half yr old daughter and needs money to evacuate himself and his family. His campaign is new and currently has had only one €5 donation.
Ahmed Al-Nabih and his family (@ahmedalnabih54) - #186 on gazavetters list. Ahmed's wife is pregnant, and he fears she may lose the baby due to the conditions in Gaza. He has already lost his father, and is watching his mother deteriorate as she can't access the necessary medications to manage her chronic health conditions. Currently he's raised 2% of his goal.
Fayez & Amal Al-Kafarna (@fayezjadallah) - Also unvetted as far as I can tell, but again donations are protected and reverse searches of their photos turned up nothing. Both Fayez and his son were shot by israeli drones, and while Fayez's condition has stabilized his son desperately needs medical care outside of Gaza. Currently they've raised 76% of their goal.
Safaa and her family (@sfaamq10) - Rb'd by 90-ghost. Safaa has a child who's less than a year old. She is also caring for her diabetic mother who, like most diabetics in Gaza right now, is going without proper treatment. Her tent has been damaged, her child has no diapers left, and the little food she was able to acquire recently was contaminated and inedible. Currently she's raised 59% of her goal.
Falestine Asad and her family (@yousef-falestinef) - vetted by 90-ghost. Falestine has a child under a year old who has no winter clothes or diapers. She had to give birth in the middle of the war, moving straight into a tent afterwards. She has no access to anything a newborn and new mother need. She needs money to evacuate, and to feed, clothe, and shelter her family in the meantime. Currently she's raised 46% of her goal.
