hate when people think the only archetype possible for a male sidekick to a female protagonist is a soft boi and/or himbo. like the implication there is that the only reason a man would ever defer to a woman’s authority is if he was a bumbling idiot. love male supporting characters who are smart and strong and confident and can step up when necessary but still kind and humble enough to let someone else take the lead most of the time

Iman talking about Kamala's team in the MCU. The interviewer tries to bait her by saying we won't get any payoff, but her response lowkey implies the opposite. She kinda confirms her team will be called Champions (or anything not Young Avengers). She says that Champions has some more relevant and updated storylines (and ofc she is the leader of Champions in the comics). And mainly that nobody is going to be young enough to be calling themselves "Young" Avengers. She talks about Riri being underutilized (so true) in the comics and praises her, Kathryn and Hailee. She changes the topic when they start talking about VisionQuest ofc since she might be there to recruit the twins.

I fell off The Boys after season 3 and I’m kinda glad I did. I feel really sorry for Gen V fans but I knew that show was never gonna matter, spinoffs rarely do. Cancelling Gen V for Vought Rising is a very blatant white supremacist dog whistle tho and I will not be supporting that show either. As if Amazon didn’t have enough reasons to suck ass.

I’m probably not consuming much of the mcu from this point on because DDBA sucks, Doomsday is trash on principal and I’m lukewarm about BND at best but I’ll hear how that goes through the grapevine ig
