How am I supposed to kill these poor bastards??
OH MY GOD THEY JUST MULTIPLY. THIS IS AWFUL D:::
giishu: I mean, I laughed when Azula asked Zuko to the Tumblr prom. http://www.vocaltwit.com/4595 [Transcript (Grey DeLisle as Azula): Zuzu, I’m presenting you with an extraordinary opportunity. You can take me to Tumblr prom. I know you’re my brother and everything, but for some reason when I ask other boys they act like I’m going to do something horrible to them… And so I do. Anyway, think it over and text me or whatever.] But then Zuko replied… http://www.vocaltwit.com/4599 [Transcript (Dante Basco as Zuko): Azula, what are we? Homeschool kids? You wanna be brother and sister at the dance? Are you trying to be cool or when we get there you’ll just try to kill me again?] And I think my brain really did get broken cause I’ve listened to those far more than is necessary at 3 AM and I am still laughing at both! Help? How do I stop listening to those?

I had wondered why Kate had a condom in her bag that Allison took. What was she doing with one of those when she was coming to visit her family? Huh, huh? And then the way her and Chris looked at each other. Then it all made sense. ;)
Teen Wolf AU: Kate is Allison’s real mother, but Chris can’t make himself tell her.

Smut Fic #2: Jon/Sansa, Jaime/Cersei
Jaime as the voyeur to Jon/Sansa sneaking around. It reminds him of when he was sneaking around with his own sister.

I want to do some Game of Thrones graphics, specifically Jaime/Cersei.
But I need some quotes from the books so I was wondering if you guys could help me?
Go through my quotes tag here: http://fuckyeahjaimecersei.tumblr.com/tagged/quotes
Should have most of them!
Guys.
It’s a Periodic. Table.

Cersei, motherhood, and power
It has become commonplace, at least among some GoT/ASoIaF fans, to claim that Cersei does everything she does for the sake of her kids. I strongly disagree with this interpretation, which misses some fundamental things about her character and the issues which GRRM is exploring with her storyline.
In many different historical contexts in which women are denied formal political power, women of elite status can exercise power indirectly through their connections to their powerful husbands, fathers, brothers, and sons. This was true of medieval Europe, which Westeros is based on.
Cersei lives in a world where she lacks the autonomy and power given to most men of her social class, yet she is tantalizingly close to the seats of power.
Regardless of this, it isn’t until Joffrey’s ascension to the throne that she has any hope whatsoever of parlaying her status and connections into any kind of real power. Robert ignores her. Tywin uses her for his own gains, but certainly is not about to share any kind of real power with his daughter. Jaime, though he has access to the privileges that Cersei lacks, doesn’t seem to care all that much about obtaining political power and influence. Tyrion and Cersei are constantly at odds, and moreover, Tyrion’s status as a dwarf means that he too is in a more marginal position, for being a Lannister.
That leaves her sons as her best chance to exercise power.
I don’t doubt that Cersei loves her children fiercely, but to ignore the ways in which Cersei seeks power for herself—and uses her sons to obtain that—is a major misinterpretation of her character.
I’ve talked about Sansa and Dany before
Cersei is an interesting female character to look at. Now, full disclosure, I’ve only seen the first season of the show. So my opinions are limited to that.
Overall, I like Cersei. She’s an interesting antagonist. She’s a woman that’s living in a deeply, deeply sexist society, in a very unloving marriage, surrounded by power hungry and potentially deadly men. And through all that…I’m more terrified of her than anyone else.
She’s managed to claw her way into some serious political power despite the entire world really being out to get her.
And yes, she’s a bad person. She’s really really cold, does does some horrible things. And she’s raised her oldest son to be a serious fucking douche waffle.
But good FEMINIST characters, strong empowered women characters, are not inherently morally admirable characters every time. Cersei is an example of a really complex, almost sympathetic, interesting female villain.
I like her.
Much as I grit my teeth at labeling any particular character 'feminist', this is a nice little summary. Cersei's attempts to advance and carve out a place for herself in a woman-hating society, while often being terrible at it, will always be super interesting to me.
Although, as to Joffrey, I think you might want to consider that he is a 'douche waffle' due a combination of things like Joffrey watching Robert (and how he as the king can get away with pretty much anything), the society he grew up in, and the complete entitlement that comes with growing up knowing you're going to be king someday. I don't think Cersei had that much sole ability to control him/raise him, and after all, Myrcella and Tommen were also raised by Cersei and turned out perfectly fine.
