I think Taylor Swift isn't just once in a generation... I don't think there will ever be another like her. I think, what stands out to me above everything, is her humility. She is one of the biggest, most awarded, richest, most talented and well known people out there, but it hasn't changed who she is. Sure, she has grown, but she hasn't lost her heart along the way. It inspires me beyond belief. If Taylor can get through what she does in the public eye, I can get over what I have going on. (Although of course I know she goes through an awful lot that nobody sees, ie, her mental health struggles)

YES!!!! like, no one is saying she is the Most Talented Ever or the only great talent (just so no one calls me antifeminist or whatever). but the combination of skills and her personality and what she brings to the industry is extremely unique, and will make a huge impact that will live on and on and on. and so will her ability to handle significant adversity with poise and grace, and her willingness to advocate for industry things even when her own ass is on the line, and her desire to share her own struggles even when it’s hard and uncomfortable so that other people hear them

i genuinely find it so unfunny how when the full uncut kanye/taylor call leaked last year, kim kardashian shamed taylor for even commenting on it because there was a pandemic/world health crisis, then you see her constantly out and about, vacationing, partying, and now at a maskless party in miami with THOUSANDS of strangers, makes u think how she literally tried to manipulate ppl into thinking she cared about something other than herself just to try and make another person look bad

I should’ve added this to my other posts but like Taylor has been a risk taker every single step of her career yet no one thinks of her like that because her risks always pay off.... she moved to Nashville and placed her bets on a label that wasn’t even really founded yet, she wrote an entire album alone because of criticism, switching to pop was predicted to end her 1M+ first week sales and she was at risk of losing her main audience, writing a letter to Apple Music AND pulling out of Spotify for years didn’t stop her sales or her tours, the Reputation stadium tours slow ticket strategy was predicted to flop yet she sold out every single show, she switched to an indie sound that’s notoriously less played on radio and less consumed yet was the most streamed and best selling artist of the year, she switched to surprise releases instead of strong commercial album rollouts and every single one of these has made her bigger and stronger and the most notable artist of her generation and yet people think she’s some girl who always plays it safe and is backed by big labels. She isn’t, Taylor Swift is the definition of a risk taker
