Battleground Fun~

Stephen had to admit, the flirty messages he sent to Cathy really did make his day. There was something about the younger brunette that just attracted him, aside from her obviously stunning looks. When sharing the embrace, Stephen couldn’t help but think how good she smelled and how good it felt to have her in his arms. He couldn’t help but sigh in relief as she said she liked his choice for her. “I’ve never actually been, but I’ve heard the bread it brilliant..” he admitted with a shrug, taking a sip of water. “Only if you’re sure?” he said, not wanting Cathy to want for anything. “I’ve been brilliant actually.. much better now that you’re here obviously? What about yourself? Did you sleep okay?” he asked, wanting to genuinely know the answer. The thing was with Stephen was that when he did form relationships, may that be platonic or otherwise, he made such an attachment to people, making sure they were safe and happy at all times. It must’ve been the big brother nature within him but with Cathy, it was slightly different.

Battleground Fun~

It was that time of year for Battleground to happen and this was going to be Cathy’s first year backstage. She normally was in the crowd but now with having a job in WWE she was lucky enough to actually get a chance and watch from backstage. She arrived at the arena early so that she could go and meet a special someone. Over the past couple of days, her and Stephen had started talking to each other and it had grown to another level. She had taken a liking to him and he was starting to become someone who she trusted, and someone who meant a lot to her. So when she told him that she was headed to the arena and he wanted her to come and see him that only made her happy on the inside. Walking around backstage she said hi to a few people and then she made her way to catering. The last tie she had seen Stephen was the time she had kissed him and taken care of him when he was drunk, so she was definitely a little nervous to see him now. Making her way to catering she had spotted him and walked over to him with a smile on her face. “I made it here, safe and sound. Bet you’re happy about that.” She said jokingly. “But hi handsome.”

Stephen had been at the gym all day. Although he wasn’t on the card for Battleground it had been a ritual for most of the guys in the locker room to workout the day before and the day of the Pay Per View; but now that that was completed, he was at the arena, sneaking in a few snacks before he went to visit the hair ladies for his mohawk. Cathy was a very special girl and with her kind nature and Stephen’s flirtatious attitude, somehow he managed to kiss her, a lot on a drunken night a few days ago and since? Flirtatious messages had been their method of communication. To say that Stephen could remember that drunken night would be a slight exaggeration, however, he did remember the sensation of kissing the beautiful woman, meaning that he would do all that he could to uphold the connection that they had. Scrolling through his phone, the older man chowed down on a packet of Lay’s potato chips before he could pop another one in his mouth he heard the familar voice of the sweet Cathy. He stood up immediately, the gentleman within him taking over before smiling widely. “Hey there gorgeous..” he said taking her arm softly and pressing her into a gentle hug, holding it for a second before pulling out a chair beside his for the brunette and waiting until she sat down first before sitting himself. “I didn’t know what food I should’ve got ya so I just got you some pasta and bread..” he said, passing over the plate that was still warm along with cutlery and a napkin for the lady. “Can I get you a drink or somethin’?” he asked, looking deeply into her eyes.
