ok so this is another long shot but a few years ago there was a twitter post (in japanese i think?) that had measurememts for how to make this book stand thing out of cardboard that you could use to double up books and use up more space on shelves

back then i made a bunch of these but by now i lost the pic and dont know how to find the original post anymore

if it comes down to it i can just take one apart and get the measurements from there but i would be very grateful if anyone happens to have the original post or something similar??

don't mind how long it's been since i made this post, anyway i realized that i don't even need to take one apart to get the measurements when i can literally just unfold it and refold it /FACEPALM

so anyway here is the diagram for anyone else who is interested!!

this requires pretty big carboard pieces, if you have a really big box or something you can make it from one piece, but if you don't, you can also just make each of the pieces individually and then tape them together

and then in the end you put it together like this!!

and then when you make a bunch you can put them all next to each other and stack your books like crazy

My younger brother requested I draw his favorite hero the Martian manhunter and here he is, it was definitely a fun challenge with the colors and cape butttt I think I got it down in the end but if anyone has any contructive criticism it is greatly welcomed

My precious perfect pookie! I’m plagued by Fineapple Angst.

I just keep thinking about Marco having nightmares! How he puts on a brave face throughout the day, but at night when there’s no one around to see him…he breaks. The survivors guilt gnawing at his existence. Then we somehow end up reconnecting with him! Idk! Maybe used to be rivals but now lovers. We always knew he wasn’t much of a sleeper until one night we wake to see him sat at the edge of the bed shoulders shaking as he quietly sobs. Wrapping our arms around him and placing a soft kiss on his shoulder. He doesn’t have to say anything because we have seen the signs in his daily routines. But now we see the one piece of himself he had hidden for months. And he just lets us witness him in such a fragile state and hold him

What? This is totally not a ploy to get him in my arms and his head on my chest so I can sprinkle kisses on his forehead 😬IT’S NOT! DONT LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT!

Marco who tends to your needs, who tends to villagers, who tends to everyone and anyone but himself. Who can only face the weight of his losses in the solitude of the night.

And even then he doesn't really face them, taking on the burden of it as his own fault. His own shortcomings. He has to be more, for somone - for you - you who was a sweet relief to see, even if you'd leveled your sword at his throat in days past.

The tension was always more than just rivals, the fire and need having spilled over into more than one passionate embrace over the years. To see you alive and whole was a relief.

A marker of his having not failed entirely, though he could hardly take credit. You were strong enough to outlive him, he was sure. He was sure. He was absolitely certain you would.

Please outlive him.

And so the weight of those night time tears became heavier. The guilt, the grief, the cowardice of wanting you to outlast him even though he knew very well how heavy this feeling was.

And when you awoke to the scene he couldnt even try to hide his shame. Weeks, months, however long it took, he couldn't lie to you, not even for his own penance.

Your embrace, your words, your acceptance of this side of him... it doesnt heal him completely, but its the first needed shift. The first crack in ill-thought defenses that need to be brought down.

And weeks, or months, after that he sleeps through the night, waking in the still, early hours of a sunrise that has not yet broke the horizon. His dreams were bittersweet, but he had found forgiveness for himself, and his rest was deeply needed.

You, against his chest, soft breath and warm body, his arm curling around your shoulder to hold you gently. Brighter to him than the rising sun, pulling him from a darkness he had thought he deserved.

By the seas, he's glad he survived.
