I think often about independence and freedom and the sheer will, discipline, faith, and prudence it takes to take care of yourself at your desired level(s). Not just physically, mentally, or financially. But spiritually, energetically and in terms of self-actualisation.

It takes guts to create a life you want. It takes audacity to show up and demand your weight in gold. And it takes cunning to understand that some decisions just have to be made. There’s no shame in wanting. There’s no shame in receiving. Shame doesn’t exist for in our field, only love, abundance and audacity.

I wish people would quit the "no one can love you if you don't love yourself" when facts are that we learn how to love ourselves through being loved by other people. Being loved is an integral part of loving yourself and there's nothing shameful about needing it.
